Check in was smooth but didn’t quite explain the elevator system. The Palm restaurant had a fabulous breakfast with great service. Love the location too!

The room was little dated, and valet was little high but it’s Chicago. The staff were nice and helpful. The location is one of the best in city.

Love this hotel. Friendly staff, walking distance to all major places as well as the starting line for the Chicago marathon. Will definitely stay here the next time I'm in town!

Slightly dated spot, but overall awesome. Service was excellent, place was very clean. Surprisingly cheap prices in the 24/7 store downstairs. My only real complaint was that the beds were pretty uncomfortable.

When I arrived to check in the room I booked was sold out because the hotel was filled to capacity. That had nothing to do with what I booked and paid my money for! That was not fair from the beginning!

Had an amazing stay at this amazing property. My husband and I had a King room with city view and the room was extremely spacious. There were signs of wear in the bathroom and some stains on the carpet, but for the most part it was clean. Shower needs re-plastered and door needs replaced to keep this property up to snuff! Luxory property at luxury prices so it should look as such.

We have been long time patrons of Swissotel but it had been a while since we returned. Great location. Wonderful view. Overall the hotel shows a bit of wear & tear and could use a bit of a facelift as in new carpets. Valet charge is steep over $80 per night.

With such a high traveler rating, I expected much more. Staff was non-existent, after I checked in i didn’t have a single interaction with any other staff. Rooms and facilities need updating. Room wasn’t serviced, even though I requested. This hotel falls very short of other options in Chicago. Without the location and views, I imagine the ratings would be much lower.

our flight was canceled and we were charged for 2 nights versus the one we actually spent.

Everything about our stay was awesome, especially the friendliness of the staff. I would love to personally thank the gentleman that checked us in. He set us up in what he called the “Fun Room”. It was freaking awesome. We had a view of the river and lake from every window in the room (and there were a lot of windows). If you go here, ask for room 904, you won’t regret it!

29th floor, windows not clean at all, covered in spiders and spider webs. none of the furniture or decor matches, it's a total mishmash. And why would a hotel give a room that has two queen beds only one small sink, but a separate shower from the tub??? And only one robe and it had rips in it. lame.
