Wonderful 5 Star hotel, on the river and near to nice restaurants and quaint back street bars. We went back back for a second visit. Top Class.

This property is gorgeous. We got connecting rooms for our family which worked out perfectly. It’s clean and the architecture is breathtaking. The staff are super friendly. Special shout out to Sahar for being so attentive and helpful with dining options and daily activities. We loved our breakfast at the Sacher hotel. The food, coffee and pastries were all A .

I would have given this hotel an overall excellent rating and highly recommended it. We had a wonderful stay and the staff was incredibly helpful. However, we were told at check in that breakfast was included and each morning told that breakfast was included with our stay. Upon check out, we were charged nearly 600 euros for breakfast. When we called to rectify the situation, the hotel manager said that she would check with the breakfast manager and call me back. I never received a return call and the charge was not reversed. My memory of our stay went from very favorable to very disappointed.

I've been to some famous hotels in Europe, but this is really the best hotel among them. If you travel to Austria, please stay at Zaher Hotel. It's not a cheap price, but it will be a choice without regrets.

A beautiful hotel in the ideal location in Salzburg. Comfortable rooms. However, service was not where it should’ve been for a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was advertised as “included” (no prices on menus, no receipt at the end) - it is 50 euros per person per day. Wait times are excessive - it takes 45 minutes to get a coffee in the morning and drink at the bar alike. Food is not consistent (one day received two eggs, next day only received one - ordered the same thing) and served at different times for various members of the party. Disappointing.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Salzburg, and my overall experience was nothing short of delightful. From the moment I arrived, the staff exhibited a level of hospitality that is truly world-class. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort throughout my stay. The attention to detail and commitment to service excellence truly set Hotel Salzburg apart. The hotel itself exuded opulence, with tastefully decorated rooms and elegant common areas. The atmosphere was serene, making it an ideal retreat for a relaxing getaway. The amenities, for the most part, were impressive, contributing to the overall luxurious feel of the stay. However, it's worth noting that there were a few drawbacks that slightly marred an otherwise flawless experience. The limitations of the pool facilities were noticeable, especially when compared to other hotels of similar name and value. Additionally, during the evening turndown service, there were a few minor cleaning oversights that, while not egregious, were unexpected in a hotel of this caliber. Despite these minor hiccups, I must emphasize that everything else about my stay at Hotel Salzburg was perfect. The staff's commitment to providing a world-class experience overshadowed any shortcomings in amenities.

All was amazing … except…, the music!!! The same boum boum everywhere… impossible to sit and read in the lounge as it was unfortunately too loud…

Fabulous hotel with the best location and views in Salzburg but the room was very quiet. Right on the Salzach River. Easy walk to all the sights and even a small supermarket nearby. Expensive but totally worth it. Front desk good at arranging tours.

Great property and location.

The property was a beautiful historic site. I was most impressed with the staff who I feel went above and beyond in terms of hospitality and friendliness. Each person from the concierge to the dining staff to the bellman did an exceptional job to welcome us for our short stay. Cannot recommend highly enough!

The property itself is very nice. The staff at the front desk and bar were wonderful. However the service is the restaurant was substandard.

We had the best experience at Hotel Sacher! After checking in, Linda had showed us to our room personally which I think is a really nice touch! She also explained the different dining options within the hotel which was really helpful. The hotel has great dining options so that if you’re tired after a long day of touring you can eat great quality food- the Nockerln from Sacher Grill is the best we’ve had during our trip! The rooms were very clean with practical amenities. And the hotel was very accommodating with arranging our airport transfers. Every staff member is so nice and welcoming. If we ever find ourselves in Salzburg in the future we will definitely stay here again!

Lovely property

Perfect hotel for a quick visit to Salzburg. Wonderful staff that were there to meet any need we had. So attentive and friendly. Location walkable to most places. This was a wonderful place to stay. Our room was river view and worth the upgrade.
