Front desk staff was rude and cursing refused to let us speak to a manager, the bartender was only server in restaurant and said she didn’t feel like working which was understandable she had no help , restaurant food came out frozen and not cooked or raw and took over an hour

The place was nice and comfortable. It did rain and some how the water did get in our room from the window.

My room was remarkably clean and the fresh scent every time I walked in the room was very unexpected as well. I am definitely staying there when I return in 3 weeks

My family enjoyed the hotel stay, the indoor pool, the food available in the hotel and availability outside the hotel. The waterfall! Beaumont is a great get away!

Best part was Jayden at check-in and went downhill from there. We were never asked for a card at check in so at 11:35pm we received a call from the front desk that they needed one. My husband explained we had been asleep for an hour and a half and could we just come by in the morning. We were told no, they had to have it right then. Completely unacceptable to wake a guest up for an error on their side. I tried to speak to the manager in the morning. I was told he was on the property but when the front desk clerk called him, he wouldn’t come talk to me and instead told the clerk to give me his card. Again, not acceptable. Now I get to be inconvenienced once again and have to call the manager about this issue. IHG has let us down with this stay and for an old, dated, and extremely noisy hotel that we spent over $200 for a room, I expected a bit better.

As we approached the front of the building, there was trash on the property, blown all over. There was a piece of rod iron sticking out the concrete at the main entrance. Almost ran over it.
Girl at the front desk had very long nasty fake nails. And she had a very bad attitude. The bed was comfortable, absolutely loved the pillows. The ice machine quit on 7, we had to go to another floor for ice. The breakfast buffet foods were cold. When I went out to get some food, there was a group of guys that were yelling at women as they came out the doors, and it was very unsettling. Staff was told and nothing was done. Ran into 2 other women that went thru this too. The eggs were cold, the grits were like water, too runny, the sausage was burnt and bacon to a crisp. Not worth $15.00 for the breakfast buffet.

The property itself was absolutely beautiful, but had I known there was a soccer tournament being held, and that particular property was hosting it I would have canceled my reservation and possibly my entire trip. There were too many children and I paid entirely too much to not be able to sleep because their parents could not keep them quiet or out of the hallways at ungodly hours of the night. I will probably never go back to this hotel.

We got to the motel at around 1:00a and the lady behind the counter was very unprofessional. She handed us 4 or 5 forms to sign and initial. (Have never had to do this) than she ran my husband’s credit card and said his card was declined!! We had paid for our stay at Holiday Inn with Travelocity online. We told her there was no way it was declined and that it was already paid for. She finally recognized she had made a mistake but was very unprofessional with how she dealt with us, the customer. Although we have stayed at this particular motel before we will not use this motel in the future

I paid a week ahead - my rate was not cancelable. Drove hard to get there because I could not cancel/change stay for Houston. Got there, they checked us in - not telling me that they switched my room. Go upstairs to find they put me in a single bed with couch. I have my handicap mother with me- not putting her on a couch to sleep esp. when I was charged $40 more for the 2 bed option. I went downstairs and they refused to change my room saying they were oversold and admitting they knew the room was switched but didn't tell me on purpose at check in. Almost 45 min later the manage finally came to speak to me (and yes, I was being polite trying not to call attention). He agreed to give me a second room- better but not perfect because now I have my elderly mother on a different floor by herself. Next morning we get up for 9 am to use the pool which I promised my daughter and was the other reason I paid more to stay at this hotel. The maintenance person didn't come in for work(also not told that) so the pool was locked. It took 4 visits to the front desk before they finally decided to get the keys to open the pool area for us. When we got in (an hour after it was supposed to be open), it had not been cleaned. Towels were everywhere, some in the pool and no clean towels available for us to use.

What I didn't like was they took my deposit with telling me about it until I got there they told me that someone was supposed to call me and tell me about the deposit before they took the 200 hundred dollars and on top of that I have to wait 3 to 5 days to get my money back that was my daughter fair money but thank God I had enough but I will not be going back ..

Don’t waste your money on this hotel, you can get better accommodations and kinder staff for much less. No one answers the 1-800 hospitality number ever. Door to exit Weight room doesn’t work you will be trapped if there isn’t someone on the outside with a room key to let you out. Hot tub only has 2 working Jets, and is absolutely filthy, tile around pool is dangerously slippery, and not stocked with enough towels. There are no names or phone numbers listed on signage where it states to call for any assistance or issues in the pool area. Fire alarm continuously went off back to back but room 409 doesn’t have functioning system so you won’t hear anything. Manager is horrible and the worst representative of this hotel chain.

We arrived at the hotel at 3pm which is their check in time. We had to sit in the lobby for nearly an hour before they had a clean room for us. There was no hair dryer. The drapes were shabby and missing one of the plastic rods needed to open/close them. We found it broken and laying in a corner behind the closed drapes. We each had a glass of their house cabernet in what appeared to be a small port glass for $10 each PLUS tax: $22 total. We have stayed at this place several times before when traveling cross country to the west coast and on the return but it has become a run down over-priced dump.

It was just as described, staff was excellent in all areas, check in was easy, room was clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast was excellent, pool area added a nice touch. Lobby is welcoming very pretty.

When I first walked in the place was so clean and the smell of cleaning products was everywhere. The staff was friendly and fast. When we got up to the suite the room was big and clean.
