This is a no-frills or bells and whistles hotel, but the rooms are comfortable, the front desk is pleasant, the continental breakfast is nice, and everything is clean.

We could not stay at hotel. Stink bugs all over room. Jennifer at the desk VERY rude. No other hotel in area available because of parents weekend at Washington and Lee. No manager on site. No maintenance on site. Had to sleep in car and shower at son’s fraternity house. Horrible experience!

No television service for NBC, ABC or CBS. That was disappointing at best. Check in staff member was pleasant and efficient.

Was refused service due to my address being in a neighboring city. Front desk staff was rude.

My stay was ok , renovations were being done so it was noisy until 4pm. My door was extreme hard to open.

Lives up to expectations. An average Best Weatern. Good location to hiway. Breakfast was surprisingly good.

Rooms open directly to the parking lot. Several times I exited to people smoking right outside my room. Some were smoking and talking at 1:30 in the morning right outside my window.
The beds were great. the sheets were nice and pillows worked.

The property was delivered "as advertised". However, it was not mentioned a major renovation was in progress and what the needs (deficiencies) the renovation was addressing. The lack of an elevator was a minor annoyance. For the money and what our need was, it was sufficient. Given options in the future, I would probably opt to spend a bit more money and have substantially nicer facilities.

Pros: Overall a good and quiet stay. Inexpensive for a one night stay. Breakfast.
Cons: shower head not working correctly. TV had horrible static view on all channels. Ice machine did not work on 2nd floor.

Last minute booking, but fair price and clean, from lobby to room, helpful front desk staff at check-in and check-out. Easy, trouble free stay

The property was fine and in a convenient location for our needs, but they are/were in the middle of a major remodel. Most of the bottom floors are being overhauled.

The first room we were given was not clean including dead bugs all over the carpet. The front desk attendant then brought us to another room that had dirt clods and dead bugs on the carpet. She commented that they were only stink bugs implying that that wasn’t too serious. She was then snippy throughout the process of cancelling our reservation. I would never recommend anyone stay here!

Location is convenient, next to the highway. Breakfast was decent- pancake, sausage and fruit. Didn't seem like the room had been renovated in awhile. Bedding and pillows were clean.

Hotel is under renovation. Our room had a chunk of carpet missing and was a trip hazard. Clearly the room needed renovation but hadn’t made the cut yet. Mattress was pretty bad as well.

Check in was quick and easy. Very pleasant reception. Located next to everything I would need(dining, convenience store and interstate).

I read the reviews, and my experience didn't match the Expedia reviews. My original room, I think 127 had a mattress that felt uneven, bumpy, and uncomfortable. Surprisingly, at check-out, I was told the mattress was new. The staff tried to accommodate me and allowed me to switch rooms.
Room 235 had two beds. The mattresses were better. Both rooms had inadequate tv's. The tv's were small with dark pictures. I had significant problems with the key cards. This was an issue in both rooms. On several occasions, I needed new cards.
The property is undergoing renovations. Perhaps it will improve. Right now, I'm avoiding staying at any Best Westerns.

Bugs on the floor all over the room

It was good for one night stay however we had some issues the bathroom got clogged :( the room was located on a first floor without elevator so no convenient with luggage

It was well within location where I had business. Close eating establishment and a convenience store with gasoline. Close to the main road. The individual that checked me in was very pleasant.

Came to Lexington for a horse show judges clinic. The room was clean and tidy. TV cable service was on the fritz, but other than that, all was well. Lots of different pillows on the kind sized bed, so I found exactly what I like.

This hotel is under renovations and the room we were in was not renovated and very dated…the carpets were threadbare and not clean, cabinets had lots of paint chips and bathroom in need of repair. These rooms shouldn’t be rented out until renovations are completed.
The admitting clerk was not friendly however the gentleman working the evening shift was very helpful.
All in all a very poor experience!

Well, the check in guy was great. But the fridge in the room didn’t work, the curtains didn’t block out the light from the parking lot, the my had construction stuff delivered at 6:30 am, and the pancake machine didn’t work.
