You get what you pay for here. Run down motel in a dirty part of Berkeley. Lots of homeless camped here. Loud noises until 1am and my car got broken into and stuff stolen. Would not stay here again.

The rooms are not the same as advertised they are very small. The conditions of the room are terrible. There were stains on the comforter and dirt and stains all over the walls and doors. The free breakfast is just stale bread and watered down juice.

I booked this hotel due to its proximity to a concert venue. I paid $250 for this room, which is very overpriced for the quality of the room. Upon checking in, half of the parking lot was roped off. Only 1 side of the parking lot was available for guest parking. When I entered the lobby to check-in, front desk told me they could not find my reservation. I attempted to find my reservation under my hotels.com account, but WiFi in the lobby wasn’t working. I confirmed the address of the hotel, I provided my full name and ID. Front desk said I might have the wrong hotel, at that point I was anxious and frustrated thinking that there was an error with my reservation. Finally the guy behind the desk said “I’m just joking with you”….not sure what gave him an indication that that ‘joke’ was funny or appropriate for the situation. When I finally got to my room, it was TINY with a very strong smell of cleaning product. Before take a shower, I inspected the inside and found hair and wet tiles (hopefully water or cleaning solution) by the drain. I shouldn’t have to clean any part of a hotel room upon first entering it. The shower was poorly designed; the shower head faced the shower curtain so when I turned the water on, all the water seeped onto the bathroom floor. Bed was uncomfortable, the mini fridge made a weird clicking sound throughout the night. There was also a party going on in the parking lot. Music, solo cups, 20 or so people acting like it was a bar.

We received terrible customer service from a man working the desk on September 18th. We booked 8 rooms and made a mistake with one of the guest's names. A Hotels.com representative and I tried working with this individual to resolve the problem. The person had a horrendous attitude, making the whole ordeal more stressful than it needed to be. The issue was eventually resolved not due to his assistance but in spite of it.

Clean and comfortable and perfectly fine as a lower budget option in otherwise expensive Berkeley. The room was on the small side and there was a fair bit of noise from the parking lot, but the bed was comfortable, and the location is convenient.

The receptionist was exceptionally negligent and borderline rude. Rooms are clean (ish) as long as you don't look under the bed.

Was just dirty. It was beautiful in the pictures and was nothing like what the pictures looks like in my opinion. Also they took $150 deposit and I have yet to see the back and it’s been over a week

Pretty average stay. Staff was nice and accomodating. I ended up booking two nights seperately due to a change of plans and they quickly and easily combined them so i could stay the same room both nights. The room itself was clean. Though everything was pretty well worn; lots of scuff marks on walls, floors and doors, chipped furniture, poorly patched damage to sheetrock from doorhandles, etc.

Definitely expected a little more based on the price. Room was clean and mostly good, but old fridge made weird sounds. Motel type grounds, not particularly inspiring. “Functional” is a good way to describe.

We stayed on the second floor in a king size bed room. Bathrooms had been updated and were very nice! The mattress needs to be replaced, parking was limited, but overall we were quite pleased with the value of this room.

Recently remodeled motel in excellent condition with new air conditioners and great nearby access to several restaurants and a Trader Joe’s. What I didn’t like was a motion activated fan that turned on anytime you walked by the bathroom. Also only decaf coffee was available both mornings.

When we check in, the staff is very friendly and helpful, he is a nice dude who help us with enthusiasm. The next day when we check out, the other staff who is very rude and keep knocking my door to remind us about check out time, he was knocking our door for more than 5 times, his attitude and service is absolutely nightmare, I really hope they should improve this part, checking out at 11 am and unstoppable reminding is absolutely ridiculous.

Good location and the washrooms look like they were updated. The room has everything I needed: iron, mini fridge, TV, desk, etc. I wish the place could use some more deep cleaning and there also was no coffee during my stay

The front desk staff was unprofessional & it seemed like he was under the influence of some substance. He was chewing beetle leaves. The car parking was full of trucks & smell of marijuana was present.

The room was ok. The floor boards weren’t glued down all the way and the walls/baseboards were dirty. We only stayed 1 night so it was ok but if I had to stay another night, I would have left. The “breakfast” was cheerios and another option. There was bread and a toaster as well as prepackaged pastries. Coffee was available but I didn’t feel like risking getting a stomachache.

My kids love it… the room is clean and the staffs are very friendly.

Ok, here is our experience for 2 days stay. We picked this hotel because its near UC Berkeley.. 1st, we had 2 beds and one of the bed's bed sheet by the door was dirty and stained. 2nd, floor was wobbly and cracked and there's a gap on the door and wasnt properly sealed. You could hear people's conversation outside. 3rd, the next day I was woken up by the guest upstairs at 6am walking around in shoes and again at 830ish.. 4th, its too hot and the AC was loud.. And 5th, on our last day, please note... we havent checked out yet and take note again it is NOT even 11 yet. Im still loading our staff in the car. When I came back the 3rd time to get more of our things, to my surprised, the cleaning lady was INSIDE starting to clean. I told her we are not ready we haven't checked out yet and we are still getting our staff and its not 11 yet.. and instead of apologizing, she argued that the front desk sent her because they saw me in the parking lot.. Like what??? I spent almost $400 for this???!

The location was convenient and restaurants were a walking distance. Small rooms but clean and had no trouble sleeping at night.

The room was pretty clean but small. The bathroom window didn’t have a screen. I did try to reach the front desk after 7pm and no one answered. I would stay there again because it is close to my friend.

There was free parking. The rooms and bathroom had been upgraded and they were very pleasant.

Rooms were clean, area and outside just in a kinda ugly part of town I think.
