The beds get 10 out 10 but it goes down hill from there. The room was a reasonable size but was very hot, the wall fan was noisy and not very effective . The showeroom was good size but shaving light did not work and the shower was quite weak, the shower gel sachets were difficult to open. The breakfast was a joke, nothing continental about it, warm orange juice, nasty white bread to toast, instant coffee, boil your own kettle, and the breakfast room was so small there is a limit of 15 minutes to try and get and eat breakfast, not good at all.

Great Location. Good transport options. Property itself is very poor, not clean, not modern. It’s more like a college dorm room feel. Bathroom wasn’t clean either.

Arrived at around 7pm. Couldn't get in as the door required a key. After a few minutes ringing and calling another guest left and we went in. Another 5 minutes later the receptionist walked around the corner carrying air freshener and bleach - As it turned out he had come directly from what was to be our room after using the toilet... After shrugging it off, we were there just for a few hours after all, we left to go to our gig. Arriving back at 11:30 we immediately discovered an enormous bed bug on the towel. Couldn't stay there, so at midnight we left for another hotel. They did refund immediately to be fair. In summary a very disappointing experience in a run down, dirty hotel. It is however cheap and in a decent location

Where to begin well the guy at reception was nice.. but the room was awful I mean what hotel room has a plunger in the bathroom I cut my foot on the floor going into the bathroom and I could not bring myself to get a shower in there.. and breakfast that we ordered was none existent.. over all very disappointing stay

This hotel is rough looking and not v clean and smelt bad.

Staff were lovely. But the tap was loose in the bathroom. Not enough room in the shower. Cracked tiles. Dusty skirting boards. Needed decorating and breakfast was very basic. Bed uncomfortable and tv to high up on the wall. Towels were hand towels. Carpets were very dirty

A decent budget friendly hotel

Had a lovely room with a beautiful bay window. It was probably the best room in the hotel 💙 I will definitely consider it for future work trips to London 😁

A great location, but let down by scruffy rooms and dirty communal areas. Needs new carpet, a lick of paint, and a damn good clean. The bed in our room had a knackered mattress that boinged when you moved due to the springs being shot. A shame, as the staff were generally friendly and helpful.

I really don’t like giving negative reviews but this place was not clean. The carpets were so dirty. The beds and pillows were so uncomfortable. The sheets were clean but you could see dark spots underneath and when I looked (thank goodness) it was just pilling but the mattresses and bed decor were dirty and stained. The people were nice enough though. We came down for breakfast at 7 (it doesn’t start until 8 which is late for breakfast) but the lady came and let us know it was ready early. Wasn’t much to it though, and only instant coffee:(

Tiny rooms. I found a staple sticking up out of our mattress near my head which isn’t great. We asked for a smoke free room but it still stunk like smoke. No mattresses protector or sheets that go all the way around the mattress so that seemed a bit dirty. Maybe a 1 star hotel, but still pricy for what it is.

Everything was fine for having a night rest. It was comfortable and clean.

You get what you pay for! The property needs updating, needs more bedclothes, both of us were cold. The plug got jammed in the sink which made teeth cleaning a bit tricky. Overall it was just about ok for a cheap overnight in London with very few expectations.

For the location it is one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve stayed in.

Not what I was expecting for the price. The place is in real need of renovation - at the very least, a good cleaning, especially in the common areas. Shower was okay, but the toilet had a noisy water leak into the bowl that was annoying and the sink so small, you could only wash one hand at a time.

Easy to get to from the tube station. Staff was welcoming. However i had a twin room, 1 hand towel, half a roll of toilet roll, 3 pillows between 2 beds, no tea, no coffee, my son had a double room he had 3 towels, 3 pillows and his tea/coffee. Couldn't put the fridge on due to the constant rattling and the fan above the bed made noises so couldn't keep that on either. Breakfast was very basic.

It was lovely and clean but the toilet was leaking each time it flushed. Good value though considering.

This was a really last minute booking. We needed a room for the lowest possible price but not a dorm. The common areas in this hotel eg hallways are pretty scruffy. In the room itself, a few things didn't quite work. The drain in the shower needs a good clean. Breakfast is limited and the WiFi doesn't work. HOWEVER - we checked in really late on a very hot night. Reception was welcoming, there was a fan in the larger than expected room (along with other useful things like a fridge and microwave), the shower was great and aside from that slightly gungy drain, everything was pristine clean. It was also beautifully quiet. All in all, really OK and better than I expected.

Awful hotel and could not stay there. I will be demanding a refund

A quiet relaxing hotel. The room was basic but clean. Very close to plenty of dining options. A twenty minute walk from the Museums in South Kensington.

Hotel was grand. The lobby & halls looked a bit run down but we didn't need to use them really. I had a Twin room booked. The room & the en suite was very small! it was difficult for 2 grown men to move around in. It was inexpensive so I suppose we got what we were paying for. I needed some water & there was no water available on site (and I wasn't too happy about that)

Pay a bit more for Travelodge or similar. Extremely noisy through night , broken rad - had to control heating with communal thermostat in hallway, terrible wifi, very shabby with curtains hanging off hook, broken picture frames, shower that hardly drained, mattress stored in narrow hallway, massive pile of huge laundry bags filling up another hallway, stained sheet, stained and threadbare towels,.list goes on. TIny TV - didn't bother though other guests may not like that.

Rundown, unkempt, - I could not make myself stay. Tried to complain to Expedia, but no response after 35 minutes on hold

We were allocated in a room next to a room being refurbished and lots of banging & hammering, of course we were not able to rest & sleep properly during the day. The carpets on the stairs are very old & stained. No lift. The restaurant where breakfast is served is very small, no ventilation & smelling damp. When we checked out, nobody in the reception to handle the room key, no bell or whatsoever to call anyone but I have to shout in the reception to get their attention.

Very good hotel.

Where to start? The man at reception when we checked in was very friendly but trying very hard, so hard that he forgot to give us important information about check out and breakfast. We were not given any information except for where our room was. On the plus side they let us check in early. I went with my two children for a night. The hotel is so run down the carpet that runs all the way to the top of the hotel looks like it hasn’t been cleaned up after a crime scene. The level of cleanliness was unbelievably bad how it’s still open I don’t know. At breakfast in the morning we could not find anyone to tell us about where it was or how it functioned. Reception was completely unmanned. After waiting with my kids for twenty minutes we had to go to the room and turn the lights on. We needed to leave so assumed the fiiid laid out on the side was a buffet. A worker came into the room and told us we had three minutes to get out and asked us what the hell we were doing. Then started raising his voice and being aggressive in from of my children. No hospitality here. He was argumentative and abusive. So upon checking out I handed him the jam that had mould on it and asked him to dispose of it. I said that we were not given any information about breakfast and he refused to acknowledge that it the jam with the mould on it. Oh and the window in our bedroom did not shut as it was rotten and as it rained it flooded the room which was an unpleasant and smelly experience as the room stank.

You would not put a dog in this place. Avoid at all cost! Expedia relocated me here because my original hotel was closed. I was booked for 3 nights but I left after 1 night. The property has permanent smell of cigarettes and sewage smell in the bathroom. Shower room is flooded and the carpets are moldy .its so disgusting! The room also is cooking hot. No air condition and the only thing to have is the noisy wall fan that kept me awake all night. I never had a rest at all. My feet went itchy after having a wash in their shower room. Beds never been hoovered as I can see other people’s hairs on it when I took sheets off. Now I have to chase for my refund as The hotel does not wanna know anymore. I hope Expedia will remove this hotel from their list. At this time of pandemic hotels should prioritise hygiene and cleanliness in their properties. I felt like I am gonna get ill if I stayed longer in there.
