I arrived at the hotel and was told they were completely booked and had no room for me. They claimed to have tried to contact me phone, but I received no call. Hotels.com had already charged me, but thankfully, I got a refund. I will never stay at a Candlewood Suites again. Horrible experience.

We had a large room that was neat and clean. Everything worked great and we felt safe in that hotel. Cold pool, and the hot tub wasn't working for the entire duration of our stay. Not a deal breaker. Very friendly staff. Overall I would stay again and recommend this hotel.

One of the reasons I booked a room here was for the swimming pool. We weren't informed that the pool was out of service until we arrived. The carpet in our room was so dirty, that the bottom of our feet were black from the dirt. And it felt damp in some spots. No wash clothes, hand towels, or extra bath towels in the bathroom. No bath mat on the bathroom floor to prevent slipping when you get out of the shower. Room wasn't stocked with enough supplies for the coffee pot. Paid over $300 for a 2 night stay. Too much for what little we got.

This hotel showed an 8.0 rating and it said Excellent. Not even close. While the staff was very pleasant the hotel was not, no ice except in the refrigerator which had to make it, run down neighborhood, the outside of the building looked good but dilapidated inside, cheap furnishings, no nrmal bath amenities, pool was not working, the desk did not answer the phone because only 1 person was there,tv would not work and no instructions until the desk when we went down there gave us the "trick",terrible mattress. This was the worst experience we have ever had in a hotel and should receive a refund. I think I am through with Hotels .com

Not a good short stay hotel

Our room had a double bed and couch. They folded in to hide a bed. They did not have pillows downstairs or in the room for the bed the sheets I had to wait to get cleaned and they only provided you with three towels when it was a room for four.

Dirty and stunk

Only issue was the washers, 3 were broke so only had 2 working for everyone to use

No hot water and was offered no discount for the inconvenience. Had hot water for only day of my stay. Terrible.

I never got to check in. They over booked and I did not know till I arrived. When I asked about another hotel, I was told we don’t know. You don’t have a room here. Sorry. So much for the email from 2 weeks earlier that indicated I had reserved a room. And so much for customer service. I say, so much for customer loyalty. Never again.

The facility is older. Undergoing some renovations. Room was very nice with lots of space, full kitchenette, and bed was comfortable. For the price compared to other options in the area was good.

Pool/ hot tub was not operational

When we got there we got into our room and there was mold in the air conditioning unit. I called the front desk and they moved us to a different room. Then in the morning I went to get coffee and there was literally 1 sugar packet in the entire hotel. It wasn’t a bad place for our 1 night stay but I will choose somewhere else to stay next time

We had a subpar room(next to elevator), and our refrigerator made so much noise we couldn’t sleep. Disappointed all around

The pullout sofa bed was… broke? The sheets weren’t changed, bathroom door hardly closed, kitchen drawer was broke, tv was broke and the hot tub and pool were filthy. Hot tub water was brown and smelled awful.

We’ve stayed at this property many times in the past and have no issues with check in, the room or facility, this trip was no different. The check in was ok, I had to fill out paperwork at check in indicating my parked car, the room was good, it was what we reserved. There were no surprises…..until I received an Onstar alert at 3:26am saying there was a theft indicated with my vehicle. Of course I didn’t see it until a few hours later. Thankfully my truck was still there but the drivers side rear window was smashed in. Surprisingly nothing was stolen. When I questioned the attendant at the desk she never came out to look at the vehicle and said the cameras in the lot do not work. She texted someone then just told me that I have to call the cops, which I did. There was no further discussion with anyone from the hotel. Not even when I checked out. I get that we park at our own risk but it would have been good to know ahead of time there are no working cameras in the parking lot, that could be considered a big safety red flag. I even parked under a bright light, not in some dark corner. Needless to say, I probably won’t be staying there again.

Room was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

The shower did not work properly, the TV remote did not work - no volume control and no way to adjust on the TV itself, no on/off - I asked told the front desk and was told someone would be by to address that but never saw anyone. Hallways smelled like a dirty diaper. The only saving grace was the friendliness of the front desk employees who were very nice to deal with.

Older property. They were doing a facelift on the exterior. Fully equipped suite. Full size fridge, glass top two burner stove, sink, dishes and a dishwasher. This is setup for a long term stay. No food facilities on sight. Good restaurants 50 yards away with a market in the opposite direction.

The smell was terrible the staff are rude

Booked this hotel specifically to be able to go swimming in the mornings & even tho there was a 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. sign on the pool we were told the pool is only open from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (Not worth the price right there.) When we first arrived I spilled a little of my drink on the linoleum kitchen area floor, wiped it with a white towel & it was almost black from how dirty the floor was before we got there. Drank the s***** in-room coffee the first morning, found the hotel coffee maker in their little store & wanted to get it the 2nd morning but there wasn't any & no offer to make any, received another packet of s***** in-room coffee instead. The remote didn't work for the TV entirely either, you have to watch it in condensed small screen mode on an already small TV. Pros-The bed was comfortable & the bedding & towels were fresh & clean. The employees were friendly & tried to be accommodating, but this hotel definitely needs better management.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. Every time I am in town I check there first. Very clean hotel. Very friendly people there.
