It was very clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and nice, we enjoyed our stay! The breakfast was great too.

Overall a good stay, we only stayed one night but had no issues. Definitely needs some updates but was clean and the staff was friendly.

My only complaint was noise. About 10:30 pm, it sounded like someone was doing maintenance on the ice machine… for about an hour. And at 5 am, I thought I was at batting, hearing a bat make contact with a baseball every 5 seconds… also for almost an hour.

Let me first say, i generally shy away from any of the Wyndam hotel chains. BUT this hotel was very nice. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable and clean. Skipped the breakfast, since it was typical hotel fare, and there is an excellent bakery about 3 blocks away.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Somewhat noisy hallways which could be improved with better doors on the rooms. Also, breakfast needs to be improved, sausages were grey in color, only plain white for bagel options, and your typical "hotel" scrambled eggs.

Our stay was great. Clean and friendly. Didn't get much info at checkin. Just, here's your key, your room is here. There was no info given about pool, breakfast, checkout, vending or anything. Also no info in the room about that. The jacuzzi was pretty small but still nice. The staff at checkout could have used some polishing. He was kind but very awkward, wrinkled shirt, greasy hair. But again, he was kind and polite.

Good place to stay in mackinaw city. It was a little too far from main things to be walkable to ferry. The bed was very comfortable and a good breakfast in the morning.

The location is excellent, within short walk to ferry, restaurants, and shops. Property appears relatively new, is in excellent condition and very clean. Staff is wonderful. My wife left a pair of good shoes, which the staff was kind enough to mail to us. The breakfast, however, is just average, on par with most other hotels, would benefit from more selection of cold items such as pastries and fruit. On the plus side, the breakfast area, although small, was kept very clean. Overall, a very nice stay, and we would stay here again!

This is not a 5 Star Hotel but it deserved a 5 Star rating! Room was very clean - beds were comfortable - ALL the staff we came in contact with were very friendly and helpful - the breakfast was decent and the staff in the breakfast room kept the tables and area clean and the food restocked. I have stayed in many of the hotels in Mackinaw City but this is the one I will come back to.

The Baymont by Wyndham in Mackinaw City is an excellent place to stay. It is within walking distance of everything within Mackinaw City. The building and grounds are extremely well kept. The rooms are in excellent condition and very clean. We will be staying here again.

Fantastic stay! Interactions with staff during the day and in the evening were wonderful. They went above and beyond. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and they made it very special! The room and hotel in general are very clean. Bed was super comfortable. The shower was strong and the water was hot. Close walk to all of the shops and Sheppler’s ferry. Highly recommend this hotel!!

We stayed two nights. Went to Mackinac Island in between. Breakfast was OK. It’s what you expect. Location was excellent walkable to the ferry. Lots of shops and restaurants that are walkable. It has everything you need for a stay in Mackinaw city.
