I have been coming to the island since early 2000’s and this hotel was the first place that I stayed years ago. I was super pleased with the upgrades, cleanliness and location. I did have a minor ant problem in the the bathroom that was quickly resolved. The location is somewhat loud, however very vibrant

Nice modern accommodation. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location, close to many major attractions and walking distance to El Conde (pedestrian street) where you can find restaurants and gift shop.

I recently visited the Dominican Republic for the first time with a friend, and we stayed at this hotel located right in the heart of the colonial district. The location is unbeatable, with countless dining, shopping, and historic sites just minutes away.
The staff was fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and fluent in English, which was helpful as I attempted to practice my limited Spanish. They always greeted me warmly whenever I came in or went out.
Our room was spotless and well-maintained. While I didn’t indulge in the stocked minibar, it was nice to have the option available. The shower had plenty of hot water, and the balcony overlooking the street was perfect for people-watching, whether during the day or at night.
Overall, I had an excellent experience during my weekend stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

It’s a nice boutique hotel. I booked a room for my 17 year old and myself, requesting TWO beds. Apparently they switched the reservation to state the my son was a 1 year old. Why would I request 2 beds while traveling with a 1 year old? Even though I’m VIP on Expedia, I wasn’t offered a room with 2 beds. The guy at the front desk made it clear it wasn’t happening. I ended up having to pay extra for a bigger room. It sucked but we were not about to be uncomfortable for 3 nights. Breakfast buffet was really nice and it’s in a really safe area in the Colonial Zone with lots of places to walk to. No pool but they do have a rooftop where you can sunbathe.

If you don’t mind walking and enjoying wonderful restaurants in Colonial, this hotel is a gem! I enjoyed our stay, my only concern was the internet was spotty and sometimes unable to connect in my room. I had complained to hotel staff, however the issue was still did not resolved. I guess that’s my one take away.
Daily Complimentary Breakfast was awesome and breakfast staff was relatively friendly and helpful.
I would definitely stay again, however request a room towards the front entrance to get better reception with Internet. Thanks for a great stay Hodelpa!

Make sure you actually see the room. I booked a Superior Double room...or Twin room for him and me. Ended up with a tiny 8x10 room..wuth 2 twin beds shoved next to each other. We checked in around 11 at night because of a canceled flight..so didnt argue..Did ask the managee..if he had larger Double rooms..He said he did...and would look into it. We ended up..hanging out allnight..and then went to Boca Chica beach..so ended up waisting 2 out of the 3 days....However..it was definitely Bait and switch. It wasnt a Double room. It was a tiny 10x8 single...and the stuck 2 beds in there

It was a great boutique hotel. It is exactly as the pictures showed. The only thing is that the noise at night and into the morning was a lot and it made it difficult to sleep.

Nice hotel. Some areas need to be repainted as they look old. But the room is good and the area around it is beautiful. It’s quite a central location in the colonial zone. Breakfast was also good.

Loved the place! Breakfast amazing and the service. Only thing I got a room with balcony and it was noisy - but I got earplugs =) other than that I would totally go back there. Making sure I request a back room. Amazing choice!
