Always comfy and clean and always accommodate my request for room in floor 1. This last time it was a new person at front desk, so i had to ask for it…. Usually the requests are always met and ready when i check in, but the room was revised swiftly.

Good experience except for the ants in the bathroom and desk area. Not comfortable when you worried they are going to crawl all over you in the night.

The overall stay was fine, clean and everything worked, although we noticed a handprint smear on the wall of our room in a dark colour which was kind of gross. Our key cards never worked so we had to go to the lobby to have it fixed every time we wanted to enter our room. The breakfast is included but there’s not many options other than bread and hard boiled eggs, and if you want scrambled eggs with potatoes you have to pay an extra 8$ each time. Other than that the staff was nice and the room was fine, but I would recommend going if you have a car and not a weekend away trip as a couple but more if you’re on business or making a stop for the night.

Booked the room for my daughter and her two friends for the weekend. Check in on Friday was fine and things appeared OK at first. However, it soon became apparent that the room was not cleaned between guests and that the bedding was not changed either after last guests! There was garbage under the bed and hair & stains on the sheets!! Complained to the manager and they apologized and said that they would do a deep cleaning but they did not do this. Offered my daughter 5% off of a 3-day room charge as if this makes up for the gross experience!

Monte Carlo Toronto Markham is a great hotel. It’s an older property but well kept and tidy. It’s quiet and conveniently located. There is also a Tim Hortons within walking distance. My only complaint is the room lighting was quite dim. Other than that it was a great place to stay. Would definitely recommend.

hotel needs Reno’s. Dingy hallways. Show very tight and black hair on curtain - not mine!!

I've stayed here a handful of times and this time was unfortunately poor. The bathroom exhaust fan was louder than a diesel generator and maintenance had already left for the day. The staff at the front desk weren't sure of when they would be back in Saturday morning but made no attempts to follow up throughout the rest of the weekend. No compensation was offered, they were fully booked so a room change was out of option. This will be the last time I stay at this location.

It would be good if there is the sign for the hotel for drivers. It is missed the 1st time when I drive by. It will be more convenient for seniors if the bathtub is lower.

Good hotel..not much frills and no pool, but if you're simply looking for a comfortable place to sleep in, this is a nice hotel. Beds are comfy, area is quiet. We were just looking for relaxation and we achieved that. There are restaurants around the area but the hotel itself does not have much amenities.

Very nice, and it was a great choice.

The service was good, only problem was the suite that I booked was not available and so they gave us another room, while it was said to be the same it was not. The jacuzzi was in the same room while the room i booked had it in a separate living room. Other than that the hotel looked neat and clean. The breakfast was okay. The staff were okay as well but the manger did try to charge me again while checking out in which she stopped after I told her I already paid.

Wow!!! 35 km from Downtown Toronto, everything and everyone was perfect! That’s my new stay when I’ll come back for sure!

The hotel was quite good - comfort was great. Having access to a jacuzzy was great!
The only disappointment was the breakfast - usually 4-star hotels provide full free breakfast - however the options provided were very minimal: bread, cereal, milk, fruits. In order to get a proper breakfast with enough protein an extra amount had to be provided. So we decided to get our breakfasts elsewhere.
