Charming belle epoque unspoiled hotel

I was frustrated because although I had contacted them to reserve parking, they did not have a space available.

Breakfast was nice, location was excellent.

Amazing service. Cute hotel with a good buffet breakfast and a nice garden to sit in.

Great location, short walk to beach.

air conditioner was broken and they could not fix. hôtel staff was not pleasant. basically accosted us as we were leaving early morning demanding we settle bill when we tried to explain we had done it the night before because of our early departure. treated very rudely. grand prix weekend and we just needed a place to lay our heads so it sufficed but i’d never stay there otherwise.

This is such a cute place! Very close to the waterfront, walkable to restaurants, and an easy walk to the train station. The beds were comfortable and I loved we could open the ‘terrace’ doors to let fresh air come in. There was A/C, and a cute courtyard with places to sit and enjoy. The bedroom was in the small side, but it had a wardrobe and was comfortable enough. The bathroom shower was super tiny, but we made it work. It’s a lovely place and very French. Super cute

We showed up to check in and were told that we couldn’t stay at the hotel after all and they had booked us a room at a different hotel. The new hotel wasn’t nearly as charming and was in a part of town that we weren’t as interested in staying in. We were disappointed.

Nice area, friendly helpful staff.

Our room was on the lower floor (ground level), there was mold in the bathroom, and the shower was leaking. The staff themselves were very pleasant, and I am grateful to them for their work! However, the conditions of the hotel leave much to be desired; it is dirty, moldy, and the furniture in the room is old and emits an odor.

Good for the price

We had a wonderful time. The hotel was of its location, very French and delightful, just the place for a short break in the south of France. Location was great, easy to walk everywhere and staff were so friendly and helpful. We will go back!

Excellent location, 15-20 min walk to all major sights. 5 min walk from the tram stop also. Lovely breakfast room and small lounge, and area outside to sit/eat also. Staff all lovely.

Fantastic hotel. Ideal position too.

Great location. 10-min walk to the Nice Ville train station, 5-min walk to the beach. We used the hotel as a crash-pad for 4 adults. Room was tight, bathroom was smaller but we somehow managed. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed the lovely breakfast/garden area, but there was confusion during checkout on whether breakfast was included with the booking (check the booking details carefully!). Staff was very kind. Expensive hotel for what you get, but we paid for the location and it delivered on that.

Great little place to stay in Nice, close to everything. Staff pleasant - carried our bags upstairs for us as there is no lift. Breakfast simple but filling, and woman serving breakfast was lovely. Room was large with a balcony. Bathroom good size and functional. Only mild issue we had was when we arrived bang on check in time (we'd had a looong transit to Nice so were keen to rest), we were initially treated less than great, like we were an inconvenience and told quite matter-of-factly (to put it nicely) that it would be half an hour until our room was ready. We were allowed to wait in the lounge until then and later the person at reception was quite apologetic, and helpful, maybe they were busy/frazzled/running behind, but the initial greeting kind of left a bad first impression.

Wonderful boutique hotel just a couple blocks from the Promenade des Anglais. Room very clean & comfortable, with charming accents. Breakfast enjoyed in the courtyard was wonderful. I highly recommend!

Disappointed!!! This was our second and last visit, stay at this boutique hotel, and also second time we do not get the room we requested for at 2nd or 3rd floor. The staff is polite, but cannot or will not help ? Anyhow, perhaps we shouldn’t expect more from a 3 star hotel, the positive takeaway is the location but that is all, be aware.
