Big and spacious, plenty of room for the family with a kitchen and family room as well. Beds are very big and everything is very clean.

Beautiful place comfortable

It’s the second time I stay in this hotel and by far still the best one with some beautiful views of the buildings around the city of Guatemala. Rooms are nice and clean and definitely comfortable. For the price, it’s definitely worth it. The only thing I’d say is for the parking, every time you leave, you have to tell them whether you’ll be coming back or not and they will check the little slip you get for the parking entrance. Other than that, all good, no complaints whatsoever!

We returned to Guatemala City for one final night and booked Casa Veranda as it was closed to the airport. What a gorgeous room! I only booked one room and we ended up with a suite! It had coffee, water and comfy beds and a very quite room Would highly recommend.

Second time there and love it. Been travelling in guatemala for 40 years and mostly stayed at the panamerican but recently been staying in zone 10 hotels. Casa Veranda is the most guatemalan of them.

Everything was great

I stayed here for 8 nights. What I liked the most about this hotel was the newly renovated gym on the top floor. It was clean and everything worked well. I used it almost everyday. I stayed in a one bedroom suite. It was spacious. There was a kitchen and there were pans and pots. There were no plates or bowls or utensil. I asked the front desk a few times to bring me these items but they never came. One evening when I was eating at the counter, there was water dripping from the ceiling. I walked down to the front desk and told them about it. The technician came very quickly to fix it. I asked for compensation and got a free breakfast. I walked down to the front desk many times to talk to the staff because the phone wasn’t working. I mentioned it to the staff but it was never fixed. The location was good. I could walk to the Oakland Place Mall and there were a lot of restaurants around within walking distance.

We’ve stayed here many times. Always loved it. Unfortunately, last night early, we asked if we could get two more coffee pods. First the front desk said that they’d have to look into it. Didn’t hear back from them. I called again and finally got a response. We’d have to pay $1 per pod and have to go down to the front desk to pick them up. I just said no thanks. Small thing to complain about, no doubt, but such a petty act on their part. I would gladly pay a dollar, but making me go pick up the coffee pods was ridiculous. Management needs to better train their staff.

Very good hotel and well located. Spacious.

Breakfast not so good. No dishes to use in the kitchen even it was advertised. Bath tub was too high to get in. Other than that it was beautiful and comfortable. I recommend it.

Very nice spacious suite with comfortable furniture and near restaurants. I do not recommend the breakfast buffet, a few choices to pick from and not very good. There’s a kitchen with one pot and one small skillet but no utensils, no dinnerware and no flatware.

The location of the property is good only if few things like the breakfast, staff speaking English is improved this will make a big difference

Great size room. Good price for the room. Drunk people in the hallways in two different nights. Strongly recommend getting the breakfast included rate. If not, the breakfast price is high.

Very nice and friendly staff. the hotel is in zone 10 which is very fancy. The malls are walkable and the area has a lot of small restaurants and stores around. The rooms were very clean and the views were great! Will definitely be back!
