The area was so amazing, the sea view was so inspiring, I kept the window open and enjoyed the cool breeze. And enjoyed seeing the sun rise every morning. Just a note 580 stairs to your room. So if your not in shape be ready to make a few stops along the way. But it gets easier.

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon. It was okay. The rooms are old. Bed is hard. We had a partial view room which I would not book- it’s a view of the generators unfortunately no other rooms were available. The roof top has a great view. Breakfast was good.

The general manager was extremely helpful, suggesting an excursion, arranging my transportation back to the bus stop and helping with my bag.
The stairs can be a challenge.

Let's talk about the view first! Amazing! Bed was very comfortable, AC was great, staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful, and very clean. The was a small ant problem so no food in the room. Get yourself ready for the stairs from the beach to the hotel though, it was rough especially after dinner and wine. Side note Ristorante Mediterraneo is around the corner on the Hotel Street, don't miss out on that! All in all great stay and would definitely recommend.

The person at the reception wasn’t the most welcoming. But the person at the restaurant/service was really gentle. He made us stay better.

Stunning views from the room and the rooftop bar. If you are arriving via ferry take into consideration you have to climb A LOT of stairs, so maybe consider a cab ride or walk the driving street, it’s a los easier than the stairs. There is a porter service that charges 15 euros per bag. They are not from the hotel, they only wear some Blue Porter shirts and that’s it. I was a bit dubious at first but the work with many hotel around Positano. Once in the hotel everything was nice, BUT we used the blankets stored in the closet and they smelled pretty heavily, I don’t think they were washed in a bit. Other than that 👌

Casa Albertina offered THE most exclusive access to Positano. It’s located in prime viewing of the entire area and close to shops and restaurants without walking down to the base of the village. Be aware, it’s over 400 steps from the bottom to the door of hotel (this is very normal for Positano). We loved the hotel and the staff was extremely helpful with luggage and all of our needs. There were weather delays with the ferry boats leading to our trip to Capri being cancelled. The hotel made arrangements to allow us to have another room instead of being forced to look elsewhere. Amazing service and staff. 10/10

The hotel has an amazing view. We had a beautiful room with daily housekeeping and a lovely terrace to enjoy the view all day and evening. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious.

Booked the standard room which we found out had a view of a cement block wall with a water or propane tank on top of it. I’ll share the picture in the section that says I can post in. The guy at the front desk, forgot his name but bigger dude with man bun, very fake friendly. Other people very nice though.

We had a fabulous stay here! The staff is AMAZING and really go above and beyond for the guests. They even booked a cooking class for us on a rainy day. The breakfast is perfect to fuel up before a day of adventure in the Amalfi coast. There are a few steps you need to climb to reach the property but in the Amalfi coast in general this is very common and not a big deal. We loved it here and will definitely be back and recommend it!

You can get the hotel lobby to help you with your suitcases as there are some stairs to walk up

staff was wonderful, location and view as well. Breakfast and service was the best. Lorenzo was so kind and professional. My wife and myself came from Los Angeles but we are Brazilians/Americans and never will forget Casa Albertina. Huge kiss to lorenzo and all staff.

There are a lot of steps, but that is how Positano is. The people working in the hotel were wonderful and very helpful.

Very good location, great view and delicious breakfast. All staff were very friendly. We are highly recommend this place. The parking that working with the hotel charging €60 per night we found a closer spot for €40. These are the rates for September.

Based off of where we stayed the first half of our trip (near the beach), Casa Abertina according to Apple Maps was .3 miles away and an 8 minute walk. What it didn’t take into account were the 422 steps from the beach. So it is quite the hike! However, the staff was amazing, particularly Lorenzo. He went out of his way to accommodate us by allowing us to have wine on the deck, even when it was closed, and brought us cushions to sit on. He was even there the next morning, ensuring everything was good for our buffet breakfast - which was delicious!

Had to park 100 yards from hotel and had to climb a lot of steps to hotel
Don’t recommend visiting Jan/Feb time frame due to slow season and hotel was painting/refurbishing of hotel to get rooms and property ready for the tourist season
Only 2 restaurants Open in later evening and the one we went to was too expensive and not good at all for the price

This place was amazing! Such an incredible view and great customer service. My wife and I stayed here during our honey moon and we could not have been happier!
Be ready for a hike up though! Google maps makes you go up a million stairs which makes it tough when you have luggage. I recommend taking the longer way that google recommends.
