Amazing buffet breakfast. Comfortable yet very dark room (overlooking a wall), a bit cold. Excellent service

The room was nice and clean and the staff was awesome and very friendly. They opened up the bar just for us so we could have a beer. The location was good for the Plaza de Armas and Parque Pino along with stores and restaurants nearby. We were able to walk to the harbor and enjoy the local sights. It was a very nice stay!

The service was impeccable; when we arrived, we were able to order room service and have it brought promptly. The room was quite a bit older but it was in a perfect location. It was a great place to stay for a one night visit to Puno. The staff were super friendly and accommodating.

Great hotel to check out Puno from. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate, but not amazing. Secure parking is a plus. Good room for the price.

We had a great one day (24 hour) stay! I can't think of anything to complain about regarding the property or room itself. I was a little annoyed that I had to pay extra for two of my three kids (they enforced a strict one person per bed rule), but it was still worth it since I had booked a great price well in advance.

For the price it’s very good. Excellent location, free printer and computer available to use and oxygen for the altitude, good breakfast and really helpful staff.

This was nice hotel to stay at as a transfer point from Cusco to La Paz. Most visitors will stay here to maybe visit Uros Island. This was probably the worst tour I have taken....it was very staged and it felt like they were begging for money. If you do the tour, dont go on the boats because all they do is paddle to the middle of the lake, then ask you for some money and a power boat pushes you back into shore. Very disappointing. I would not recommend the tour at all. The hotel was a nice change because it had a tub and hot running water. Great staff. Puno itself do not have much to offer though, so a single night is probably more than enough.

Best small hotel weve stayed at in Peru! Terrific staff, excellent breakfast, handy location, comfy beds, bug room. Would definately stay there again.

Had a great time at this hotel. Staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was well stocked and a great value. Plenty of food and beverages and well maintained. The hotel itself is on a quiet street and the neighborhood is also quiet. I had no problem sleeping at night. I would recommend this hotel with 5 stars.

Room spacious and comfortable. Staff helpful and courteous. In close proximity to many restaurants, shops and tour companies.

The location, cleanliness, room comfort etc. are all good. What stands out is the staff. They are exceptionally helpful, cheerful and capable. We loved everything about our stay at Quelqatani.

We only stayed one night. The hotel was okay, but everywhere except for our room there were freezing cold. The staff in the reception sat with jackets on all day. However, the location is fine, the staff was friendly and they let us check in three hours before time, which was much appreciated since we arrived early after a night in an overnight bus. They also storaged our luggage on the day of departure and let us wait for several hours in the lobby.

Internet password didn't work, seemingly lobby has different internet source than 3rd floor. Staff at reception was unconsidered and almost outright rude. But next day staff was much better so YMMV

The staff was really helpful whenever we needed anything. When our converter didnt work, they loaned us theirs for a long as we needed it. The breakfast was very good. They helped us confirm our tours and got us any messages. It is around the corner from Lima street with all kinds of restaurants and bars and shopping. Its only 2-3 blocks from city center.

My boyfriend and I are from Canada and recently took a trip to Peru. We stayed one night at Qelqatani and had a good stay there. The hotel is an older building and is quite dark inside, but we stayed in a large room (junior suite) for a decent price with a king size bed and were very comfortable. Puno is quite cold at night but the room had a portable heater so we were able to sleep no problem. Coco tea and breakfast is included in the price. We had our laundry done here and it ended up being quite expensive so I would recommend going elsewhere for laundry service or just put in a very small load. The hotel staff spoke very little English. Two bottles of water were included in the room which is always nice, and we were able to store our bags there overnight while we went on a tour of Lake Titicaca. Location is great- less than 5 minute walk to the Plaza de Armas.

El hotel esta ubicado cerca del centro de Puno, muy buen servicio y habitaciones completas. Ademas un excelente desayuno muy completo y recomendado. Great hotel near Puno Center, good restaurants nearby y the room is clean and everything you need. As extra a really good breakfast next morning. Would recommend.

Excellent breakfast. Rooms spacious... Only concern was dingy carpet in both rooms stayed in. Decent view of mountains w/ windows could open for fresh air & breeze. Staff spoke good English.
