Our room was very dirty upon check in but cleanliness improved over our stay. Took about 10 minutes of running shower to get hot water. Limited amenities in hotel. Great location close to zocalo, cathedral, shopping and dining. Not sure I’d go back.

No exterior windows, all rooms enter from main atrium lobby, so even though rooms are ok, you can hear everything going on due to hard surfaces and door not sound-proofed. The free breakfast, which consisted one choice, Frosted Flakes of all things, was insulting.

Wi Fi lacking with no explanation as to why. They were not able to fix during my whole stay. As a business traveler wifi is very important. Hot wat took over 5 minutes to got hot in the shower.

This hotel has so much charm as much of the buildings or “casonas” in this historic city do. It was a wonderful stay and I have to agree with others that the staff was amazing. We felt safe and comfortable. There was a large group of us so we had the chance to see 3 different junior rooms. If you are able to, request one located at an end or corner. Those have the best features in my opinion. I stayed in an interior room which made it significantly smaller, darker and stuffier because it did not have operable windows. It only had a small inoperable front window facing courtyard and our sink was awkwardly located outside the restroom with a half frosted bathroom door rather than a full privacy door. The amenities such as split Ac units in each room and elevator were nice since we traveled with elderly family. We had an issue with our shower head the first night. But we were pleasantly surprised to see it replaced with a new one the same day we reported it. The only negative for us was the hotel restaurant food. The coffee was subpar. Most of the time, it was barely hot. And the food in general was mediocre which was a shame because there were a couple of times we were too tired to go out to eat and wished their food had been better. But the complimentary continental breakfast was still appreciated. Be sure to go up to the rooftop for drinks. It has a nice view of the Cathedral and large lounge area.

FANTASTIC Location. Just 1 block from main plaza (Zocalo) & Cathedral. Lots of tourist busses leave from the Pkaza. BIGGEST issue-out of our 4 night stay, there was ONLY 1 MORNING with HOT water😡. At night there was none & we had to keep asking in the morning & night for an update but we only lucked out 1 morning & by the night they were out of HOT water again. Tv didn’t work in 1st room, but they changed us to a new one ASAP. Beds & pillows are comfortable. Location is UNBEATABLE. I WOULD stay there again but would make sure there’s NO current issues with having HOT water.

Location, location, location! This hotel is half a block from the Zocalo. In addition it includes off site parking and onsite breakfast. The staff were helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

that is located on downtown, close to walking distance of the zocalo, cathedral and touristic areas of downtown. we did not like the shower the water was not coming out good and the frame of the bed very squeaky.

Open elevator was the reason I booked this hotel , interior renovated , mix of historical and modern accent, the location just perfect, I hope to go back in the future since I didn't have enough of the city

Beautiful building. The staff were amazingly nice and we had everything we needed. The rooms are dark though, so it isn't particularly pleasant to just hang out in the room during the day. But that's just another reason to go out and explore the city!

Location was great, a few steps from the main square. I didn’t have hot water thou :( spoke to the staff and they said the boilers were on but still no hot water. Also WiFi doesn’t work on the 2nd floor only on the 1st floor.

Hotel Puebla De Antaño fue una muy buena experiencia para mi esposa y para mi. El hotel muy limpio, y el personal de primera muy atentos para lo que uno necesitaba. Yo definitivamente regresaria y se los recomiendo a mis amigos, vale la pena porque tambien es muy centrico. ahhh se me estaba olvidando, el almuerzo no es lo que mi esposa y yo esperabamos, eso si es lo unico que nos decepciono,..

Beautiful old hotel right in the centre of Puebla. Friendly staff and clean, pleasant rooms. We’d happily stay here again.

Beautiful colonial building with an interior patio where the elevator is located. The bathroom was small but everything worked and was clean. The restaurant felt like a room in an European castle. The waiter during the breakfast was very polite. But we did not like the breakfast. Half full glass of orange juice, no black or green tea, a plate of a few very thin slices of fruits, and eggs in different styles. No variety and very small portions. The second day after breakfast we went to a restaurant around the corner where we got a cheap and excellent buffet style breakfast. But definitely we will come back and just skip the breakfast.

This hotel was amazing. Such a great location next to the zocalo and cathedral. Also, amazing decor and fun atmosphere. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back soon!

Second stay at Puebla de Antaño in a week, loved everything about it, service, hotel’s history and the fact it’s in the historic district.
