Clean and warm but a strong smell in the room.

Hotel was clean and ideal location. Great service and brilliant food - reasonably priced and very tasty.

I stayed here for one night and an issue I noticed straight away was the lack of cleanliness because one pillow case had what I thought was a blood-like stain (as you can judge by the photo). I reported the issue to the front desk and I was told that the housekeeping staff would change it - nobody did anything, which I suspect was because I was only staying there for one night but I just felt like they were dishonest there. I also did not like how I had to unfold the sofa bed myself when I arrived which I hurt my finger doing, although nothing too serious came of it. Then there was no heating coming from the radiator even when turned to the maximum temperature but I did not bother reporting this as I found the bedding kept me warm enough and I slept through the night. Beforehand though, around midnight, I was locked out of the hotel and there were no staff so I panicked as I was not given any information about what key opens what door which I had to figure out myself. Another issue I found was when the front desk said that the set of keys which they give out could not be passed onto the other people who I shared the room with because it was booked in my name so it made plans to meet more complicated than it needed to be. There was also misinformation in the room's handbook which stated that the check out time was at 10 AM but it turned out it was actually 11 AM according to the front desk. Those last two issues were not reported but I lost faith in the staff there by the end.

The room was spacious, the beds comfortable and they changed the towels every day. A really enjoyable stay. The staff were super helpful, we will book again

The stay was a bit odd but the room was spacious and comfortable. Creaking floorboards and in need of some updating but obvious that they had put effort into the rooms since they were well appointed and had everything someone needs. The fact that it’s all above a pub which is only really open later in the day is the part that makes it odd.

The room was clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast Good storage space and facilities. Only fault the radiator needed bleeding.

Great staff, good location, we were away from the street so noise no issue and mid week stay so no noise downstairs either but we hear it can be noisy Fri/Sat.

Arrived at the location and everyone was lovely and friendly. Was given the keys and directed to our room. The room was nice and spacious. Bed was lovely and comfortable. Everything seemed clean and fresh. The only downside I could find about the place was there were a couple of diy bits that needed attention like the bathroom door handle needing to be reattached properly. But nothing that impeded our stay or made it uncomfortable in any way. Next time we come to Manchester we will be returning to this venue. Thank you

Friendly staff. Easy experience. Juat needs some updating. Positive - The bar downstairs is great and shows the football Negative - 100% needs a new mattress. Mine was wo bad i went and slept on the single bed instead. Also, while it was generally really clean. There was mould on the ceiljng in teh shower. Like quite a bit.

Quick trip, good location but noisy as it’s over a pub. They did say it closed at midnight and they were pretty good at shutting down quick at midnight. Wouldn’t be ideal if you were looking to head to bed earlier than midnight though

Was good stay at oxnoble room nice everything you need, hotel close to main attractions 10/15 walk. Breakfast took ages but place busy and one guy on by himself, but breakfast was amazing once we got it. Parking an issue, try and arrive after six to get space or you might end up getting ticket, signage not to clear.

All the staff we met were friendly, welcoming, and couldn’t do enough for us. The room was pleasant and clean; comfortable bed and plenty of storage space. The bathroom was nice enough, but the floor was rather creaky and noisy. We were disturbed by external noise in the early hours a couple of times, however it’s not unexpected given it was a Friday night in central Manchester so there will be people out enjoying themselves until the small hours! Pub music was loud initially, but quiet and peaceful after midnight. Great breakfast! All in all a pleasant stay and fantastic value for money!

Booked a King bed room and bed was really very nice and a decent size room. However, there are a number of minor drawbacks. Described as a 3.5 star place, but there's no shampoo/shower gel in the shower, the radiators you cannot adjust the heat, they're also hot at the bottom & cold in middle/top (need to be bled). Need to open the window to reduce the heat (even in February). The TV is very small for the size of room. Finally they only serve breakfast 9-11am which is quite late. I had to miss breakfast as had a 9am train.

Great pub hotel in central Manchester. Great breakfast.
