The front desk staff seemed inexperienced and unprepared to handle basic customer service needs. They were unable to provide solutions for any of the issues we faced during our stay, and when asked questions about Charleston—a relatively small city—they had no helpful information. It's essential that hotel staff, especially those at the front desk who represent the establishment, are knowledgeable, accommodating, and proactive in ensuring guests have a pleasant stay. Our room was not adequately cleaned, with noticeable stains on the walls and carpet, and hair from previous guests in the bathroom. The TV didn't work throughout our stay, despite staff checking it on two consecutive days without resolving the issue. Once again, the front desk was not helpful when approached about this problem. The pool, located on the roof, is more of a small soaking tub rather than a swimming pool, which may be disappointing if you were expecting to swim. Additionally, the bed was uncomfortable. Overall, the most disappointing aspect was the lack of professionalism and poor customer service.

RH was absolutely PERFECT! We had 5 couples on this getaway and we all had a fabulous experience at RH. The staff, rooms, housekeeping and rooftop dining staff were all amazing! The food and drink at the rooftop were also excellent! Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

Very convenient location right in the heart of downtown CHS. Hotel has a lot of complimentary add-ons and staff was really nice. Room was bigger than expected, clean, spacious, and comfortable.

Loved our stay here - characterful, huge rooms with full kitchens, and dog friendly. Bed was super comfortable, location is perfect for downtown Charleston. Jeep service within 2 miles is a nice touch. Will definitely come back!

A jeep and driver available upon request.a full sized fridge with water, sparkling water, OJ, seltzer and sodas no fee. The staff, the roof top pool, bar, walking distance(wear comfy shoes) to everywhere . It was azing

This was one of my most favorite hotels I have visited. The amenities and location for the value were amazing. Highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Charleston. Staff was extremely friendly...room was great...location was perfect. Would definitely stay again!

Way understaffed, waited a long time for valet, checking in, getting things in room, cleanliness of things left at pool. The room was spacious, bed super comfy, awesome bathroom. Amenities were nice but we booked a room for three and breakfast and in-room amenities were for 2. Great location. Pool was very small but very nice. Just wish there had been someone cleaning up.

Loved having 2 bathrooms in the suite! Breakfast basket delivered was a nice touch. Welcome pimento cheese and crackers was delicious! Walking distance to shopping and dining prefect! Rooftop bar was so convenient.

Parking is robbery. Get the valet if you don’t mind others driving your car. 38$ a day. Public parking deck down the street, 4$ for first 20min, 1$ per 20mins after with a max of 30$. Per day. (Lost ticket is 45$. Inside is very clean, spacious, & bedding and towels were good. Staff is polite and helpful. Pans, Silverware, and basic dishes are in room and clean. Full kitchen including dishwasher. Washer and Dryer were all good. Great location.

Everything about our stay here at The Restoration as great. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast baskets in the mornings and transportation in the jeep around town were an added plus. This is a great central location to many of the best spots around downtown Charleston. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. Coffee at The Rise downstairs was some of the best we had in town. Highly recommend this hotel.

We always stay here for a few nights before continuing to Kiawah island. Love Charleston!

Amazing place to stay! Comes with a bunch of perks (breakfast delivered to your door each morning, happy hours, Jeep shuttle to drive you around) that help put what is an already beautiful, good value spot over the top! Nice clean establishment in a great location. King street is a block away and there are so many good restaurants nearby. Look no further!

Stayed here on a friend’s recommendation and can’t say enough about how amazing it was! Attention to every detail. Room was clean and well decorated. I will definitely return.

As far as I'm concerned, The Restoration is THE place to stay. We chose a 1 bedroom residential and it was absolutely AMAZING. The room was huge and offered a full kitchen. The staff is first class and provided transportation within a limited area that covered everywhere we went. The location is perfect, just off King St so we were able to walk to food and shopping. There's a pool and a fantastic restaurant on site. Every morning they deliver a breakfast basket to your door. The fridge was stocked with drinks at no extra charge and they are happy to restock anything you like. Alcoholic beverages are available in the room for purchase along with snacks. I cannot say enough about the hospitality. Definitely the place to stay in Charleston. We'll be back, for sure!

Everything was wonderful. The staff, room, amenities. They had wine/cheese each night. Valet service did a great job. Location was terrific. Highly recommend.
