This was a step up from student dorm. Bed was from 1940. Bouncing mattress. Bathroom tiny where shower door hits the toilet. No where comfortable to sit in room or common area. Window faces interior light well. Not a bnb because no one on site. More like a group of 4 rooms with small space in between. Poor value for price. Stay at excelsior palace hotel instead

Great location in the old town but quiet when you shut the door behind you. Giovanna was exceptionally helpful with her communications. Recommend.

A very traditional B & B in the heart of Citta Alta in Bergamo. Very clean, warm and comfortable room with space to relax. Giovanna was just so helpful and made our stay even more special. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

B&B SanLorenzo is a great place to stay for a visit to Bergamo’s upper city. Giovanna welcomed us to a clean, bright, comfortable B&B and made us feel welcome. The room had a nice balcony, comfortable bed, and windows for a nice cross breeze in the evening. Highly recommend.

Beautiful little boutique B&B, great quality bed linen and towels , everything snow white, central location The lady owner was so friendly and helpful she really couldnt do more. Freshly cooked eggs and great selection for breakfast I cant recommend highly enough , this is a really special place and would not hesitate to recommend 5 stars all the way thank you for a lovely stay

The location cannot be bettered. The room was great as was the breakfast. Giovanna who owns the B&B could not have been more welcoming and helpful. She even sorted out the parking issues that we had. Great service, great location great stay. Many thanks to Giovanna.

We had a great stay at B&B San Lorenzo and highly recommend it. At first we had a bit difficulty finding the B&B but Johanna helped us with the location and personally guided us to the parking lot. This B&B is right in the middle of the old town so it is an easy walk to restaurants, bars, etc. Our room looked just like in the pictures and was in great condition and spotless. The furniture throughout the B&B was coordinated, light and bright. Breakfast was good and the service overall very friendly.

The owner was really friendly and helpful - she gave us loads of info about the area and recommendations on where to eat. Breakfast was very substantial and tasty.

We were only in Bergamo for a day but this B&B was the perfect place to stay. Wonderful staff that couldn't do too much to help you. Very clean, large rooms. Nice breakfast. I would definitely stay again.

We loved our time in Bergamo. The location of this B&B is perfect for access to the Citta Alta since it's right in the heart of the old town. But what we loved the most, much to our surpise, were the owner, Claudia, and Paula. Claudia is one of the most gentle, sweet, caring, and lovely people we have ever met. And Paula in her slightly saucier and funny way was just as enjoyable and kind. Without any prompting, Paula remade our cappuccinos because she saw they had been sitting for 15 minutes, just to make sure we had fresh ones. And even though we hadn't paid for breakfast, Claudia told us we could join in for free. Of course I couldn't stand for that, but how incredibly generous and kind! I could go on and on. And then her and her husband (another lovely human!) have the most precious border collie in the world....Angie!!! My wife and I still playfully yell out, "Angie!," from time to time to remember everything wonderful about our magical stay in Bergamo, so much of which we attribute to the glorious people running B&B San Lorenzo. We'd so very much love to go back.

The B&B is in the beautiful upper town of Bergamo and ideally located to all sights, shops, bars and restaurants. The rooms are beautifully decorated with lovely furniture. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, on hand to give advice about where to go and how to get places. We wish we could have stayed longer & will be back!

The staff was very helpful and accommodating and location central in Citta Alta. We ate a very nice breakfast in the company of other pleasant guests also in the B&B.

A nice B&B with friendly staff. We arrived late after check-in, because of the communication before our stay we were able to let them know we were delayed and the staff were still available once we arrived to give us information on the town.

This place is steps away from the main square, where the tower, 3 churches, and unique sundial are musts. You could pay lots of money to go to a museum and not see half of what is in these churches.I never left citti alta, excepting a couple of hikers upward, and it was great to be staying right in the middle. The first two photos are on opposite ends of the city, but are within a 15 minute walk of the B&B.The hosts are very welcoming and make you feel right at home. Room was as pictured and spotless. I dont think youll be streaming video with the wifi but it worked solidly for me.Note: because you are right in the middle, be aware that weekend nightlife is alive and well in the citti alta. I happened to pick a weekend with a huge running event, so im not sure how typical my experience was. Theres places to get a drink to 2am. The windows on my room were pretty good with the keeping the noise down, but a noise sensitive person who needs to get to sleep at 9pm might have another opinion.

Would highly recommend this B&B in Citta Alta. It’s in an excellent location close to all the sights in the Old town of Bergamo. Wonderful cafes and restaurants nearby. Giorgiana is a very helpful host, meeting us as arranged and organising a park for our car. The rooms are beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, and breakfast was delicious. We had a most enjoyable stay.

Perfect location right in the centre of Citta Alta. Rooms immaculate with friendly and helpful owners. Only 3 bedrooms but this just makes the place feel extra special. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars in the vicinity to suit all tastes - would not hesitate to stay here again.

Wonderful place once you get there. Parking is very limited so it is much better to get there by public transportation.

In addition to superb location, cleanliness and up-to-date facilities, the warm welcome and helpfulness of hostess Gioanna made our stay special.

Giovanna was absolutely charming and so was this little B&B. In the center of Bergamo Alta. Excellent breakfast. They treat you like family.

This is a small B&B (3 rooms only). My room had a really comfortable bed, updated bathroom, etc. WiFi was a little weak, but other than that I really could not wish for anything better.

Wifi wasn't great in the room but other than that it was fantastic
