Very basic hotel but clean and reasonably priced! Perfect for a night or two in LIC.

Staffing starting with the front desk, to the people who took care of the kitchen, and to the people who cleaned the rooms... Absolutely friendly and exceptional! They were kind and very courteous. The room was incredibly clean and updated. The breakfast was very good. The only reason I did not give my rating a five stars is because the mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. Otherwise for everything else five stars!

The front desk staff was very helpful. Although it is a low building, we were able to enjoy the night view of Manhattan, including the top of the Empire State Building. Be careful as breakfast can be very crowded depending on the time of day. Even though accommodation costs in New York are rising, the price is about 1.5 times what we would expect.

Great hotel for the price. Rooftop offered great views of the city. Complimentary breakfast saved us a lot of time and money. Easy 15 minute commute to Manhattan. No complaints!

The WiFi did not work. The front desk said they would check and call me back. They didn’t. The next time I called front desk, they said that the problem was in the area and they couldn’t do anything about it. Why didn’t the hotel contact me to let me know before I arrived? Why didn’t they offer to reduce my bill or give me a discount on my next stay? The furniture and baseboards in the room were scuffed. The remote didn’t work. The stand-alone coat rack wobbled back and forth.

Hotel was good enough. Nothing fancy but conveniently located to where we wanted to be. Breakfast was good. Very clean. Our room had a toilet that ran all night—annoying. Beds aren’t as comfortable as we would have liked.

I was pleasantly surprised to see how clean and professionally managed this property was. I loved the daily room cleaning, free breakfast and affordable overnight parking. I have no complaints and will definitely choose to stay here in future. Just minutes walk to train, and only a few stops directly into Manhattan. Great proximity to Manhattan without the price tag.

This is such a great jump off for an NYC trip. Easy access to great transportation, a lovely local neighborhood, and the roof deck is great for hanging out and checking the skyline.
It’s a fairly utilitarian vibe. No frills, but totally functional. I was here for four nights and it did the job.

On the not so positive side, room was at street level, with people walking just outside window (hotel claimed no other room available). Fitness room closes at 5 pm. On the positive side, room was spacious (for NYC standards) and had all the basics. Breakfast was really good (likely the best part of the whole stay). Overall an OK stay.

Very convenient and affordable hotel close to La Guardia. Free parking (though limited in hotel lot) and rooftop view/seating (though could be better kept) sealed the deal!

As with all NY hotels -- rooms are always smaller than the picture. With that said good hotel and very clean room, clean linens, and bathroom. Parking was good and price half price of other hotels I reviewed. Would use this hotel again when visiting NY.

The beds were actually just metal cots with very thin economy style mattresses on them similar to what you would find in a dorm room or summer camp. They had bed skirts around them to disguise the fact that they were just cots.

I had a good stay—just one night, but zero complaints. Lovely to be able to park easily, and I was able to leave the car before and after checking in and out without paying more. Not much fun in the neighborhood, but that’s not what I came for. Would come again.
