Staff were very friendly and accommodating- food was great and affordable- swimming pool was large and particularly spectacular at night with colourful lights- Resort located just 10 minute tricycle ride to whale watching , 10 minutes to waterfalls as well

Room was great. Pool is ok, but the water gets very warm during the day, so not very helpful to cool off. Staff is often nowhere to be found, just the lady from the restaurant, and don’t speak much English. I tried to book a tour, but they didn’t understand (thought I wanted just a driver), so I ended up booking online. The food at the restaurant was nice

The best part about Lantawan Resort is the woman who makes all your meals to order. Delicious and timely. The room was clean but the hot water pipe leaked in my particular room so I hope this will be fixed soon. Must take a motorcycle to the closest dive spot/whale shark spot but they can easily arrange this for you. Staff were friendly. Pool is clean and nice and private as it is elevated from the road.

Beautiful pool, large and clean althoigh lots of stairs to access it. Nice veranda to sip drinks while looking out over the ocean. Very nice value place to enjoy the area for a couple days.

Nice place that overlooks the water, and it’s away from the ultra touristy neighborhood.

Clean room. Size of bathroom is large! Lack of toiletries. Property is loud due to being close to the road. WiFi access is slow.

Great cook, like home at grandma's. Great shower (big shower head, lots of water), Internet was good to stream Netflix. Great sea view

The hotel itself is very basic but what makes it standout is the service. Janet, at the front office was very helpful. She helped arrange our tours and van rental. Noli, the night watchman was also very helpful. They both went above and beyond their call of duty. Highly recommended.

The property surroundings we’re well kept and maintained, which quite often reflects management/owners standards. The restaurant meals were always delicious, thank you Julie!! We organized all out yours through them, which were all excellent, I highly recommend canyoneering & Kawasen Falls. This hotel was a great find!!

Good clean rooms and very helpful staff! Only issue was the close proximity to the main road.

We just stayed in lantawan hotel for one night but we had a great time here. Its a bit remote but not a problem if you drive you own car to here. It seems that the hotel is newly built as the rooms and facilities are clean and tidy. The hotel is right next to shore that we have a good time to enjoy the stunning seaview and sunrise just outside the lodges. We also rented canoes exploring the offshore area. There was a town just 10 mins drive from the hotel that we can buy supplies and food from local market and 7-11. We had breakfast and dinner in a restaurant just next to the hotel. The food quality is surprisingly delicious and i would comment that is the best one during my five days visit in Cebu. The main purpose of visit to Oslob was watching whale shark. The boss arranged the tour for us and he accompanied us to the whale watching site. We passed the valuables and personal belongings to him and he waited until we finish the whale watching activity. He is such a helpful and responsible boss.

Pros: Room was great! Huge bathroom with hot water, nearby restaurant with fair price Cons: poor internet connection, limited parking spot, no amenities, can be noisy since it's location is next to a highway

All the amenities and pictures said in expedia are not true no swimming pool and you have to cross the national road before you get to the sea. This is not a resort!!!

The place is clean; not crowded;Close to the beach just cross the small highway and the beach is right there. The bathroom towel rack coming off the wall.Just need to keep up the maintenance of the place. WIFI has good signal;Staff is very nice.The place is outside the town center you need to wait for a public transportation like a tricycle to pass by to bring you to places like restaurant or to whale shark place if you don't have your own transportation.They have a restaurant next door food is good a bit expensive.

The staff at lantawan are so friendly and helpful. The room was just as pictured and very very clean. The restaurant at lantawan was delicious and so convenient to have so close by. Right on the water go great view!! Would definitely stay again next time we are in oslob!

Great place to stay in Oslob for such a great price! The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the food at the restaurant was great. Lantawan is slightly isolated from the Whale Shark sanctuary and the main part of town in Oslob so its nice and quiet, but close enough to where you can easily access both areas. Highly recommend Lantawan Resort - will definitely stay there the next time we come back!

Good for a couple of nights stay. Avoid room 37 as directly next to the highway. Noisy from traffic.

The room we got was in the Road side and the sound track that passed by makes us unconfortable

The room is spacious and clean.There is a restaurant and price is reasonable.It is located in between Oslob whale shark watching and the Oslob town.

Close to the beach but not able to swim due to rocks. Only one retaurant in 2km radius

The staff of the hotel was good. The beach is very close to the sea. But you cant swim better because of the rocks. The whaleshark watching was a nice experience. The kawasan falls is also a nice place to visit. If you get a private car, it is very expensive. The food is also expensive. Overall, whaleshark watching and falls is only thing i recommend.

Lantawan resort a perfect place to stay when visiting Oslob. Great location, clean facilities, good price and highly commendable staff. So far its one of the best place to stay in that area. It will be my fave place to consider.

This is a really nice resort. However oslob is boring once you've already done the whale shark watching, island hopping, and canyoneering.
