Hotel was convenient and huge. Nice for our family even though we only stayed one night. The parking garage is TIGHT but also convenient and reasonably priced for the city. Our only "bad" experience there was that the basketball court was unusable and it was kind of dark by the big chess.

Very nice room. The parking was a little tight for my truck but besides that, excellent stay.

In Pittsburgh for a conference. This is our 3rd year staying at Etage. Only place we’ll stay when in Pittsburgh.

Awesome view of the city within walking distance of pnc & heinz field. Basketball court on the rooftop along with lounge chairs & grilling area.

Actually more like an apartment room than a hotel. Room very comfortable and spacious with good view. Full kitchen with stove, microwave and refrigerator. Clean a comfortable. Great shower Parking in the building was very convenient at $30 a day (only $25/day at the garage). Location was good for downtown restaurants and only a short walk to stadiums.

Great place! Bed is comfortable, room is well appointed and clean, the shower is fabulous. The only downside is the ambient noise from neighbors. The soundproofing is poor and our neighbors kids were having a blast on one side and the other side listens to the TV at a ridiculous volume. We ran the dishwasher and the laundry to help drown out the noise. Other than that, location is perfect if you want to be downtown.

I didnt know it would be a full sized apartment but it was crazy nice for the price. Had a full kitchen with everything you would need for an extended stay, the bed was very comfortable, the view was great, the shower was great, and overall i had a great time. The only thing i didnt like was there was no vending or anything in the building and i really didnt want to have to leave the building to find a snack or drink. Also they charge a 250$ deposit when you get there but I got mine back without a problem.

I wrote earlier about a bad experience with my check-in, within an hour the property manager reached out to me to make things right. As mentioned in my last review, the hotel is beautiful, my checkout was great, we would return again. Oh, the gym is fantastic, and my son loved the games room.

Loved everything about our stay here! The apartment was clean upon arrival and we were supplied with everything we need to keep the place tidy! I also loved how it was located right by the Market Square. There were tons of places to eat, as well as some activities to do like the street market and arcade. It was also within a 20 minute walking distance from PNC Park, which made quite a convenience parking at the Etage! Only word of caution that the parking garage ramp is very steep and narrow! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, and absolutely come back next time I’m in Pittsburgh!

Property was perfect for my trip. Very nice accommodations along with a wonderful kitchen, washer/dryer and all thongs to give someone home away from home. Will definitely stay here again!

Fire pits were not working, my children were kicked out of the basketball court area due to a yoga class that I had no knowledge of prior to booking. We only stayed here for the roof top court.

Our family of four, with two teenage boys, really enjoyed our stay at Etage. We were happy having two separate bedrooms and a kitchen for breakfast. The boys loved the basketball court and the gym downstairs. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We would stay again!

Great location. Everything you need around you. Staff friendly and helpful. Very clean. Beds extremely comfortable. Quiet. Will stay there again. Garage is a bit small but glad they had one we could use.

Etage Hotel is built on the upper stories of a parking lot. Very convenient location in the centre of Pittsburgh. The room was very large with good appliances and a nice view of the city. The bedroom had a great bed and comfortable pillows. However, there was a strange "BO" smell to the room that was immediately noticeable when we entered. It lasted all 3 days and because the windows don't open, we couldn't air it out. You kind of get used to it, so it's not a deal breaker. The gym was very large and well appointed. Access is through the outside, so they buzz you in. The machines are recent and include a massage chair and a room for spin class. The sauna has a weird smell also- probably needs to be refurbished or something.

Property in excellent shape and clean. Great location. The very large and well equipped health club big plus. But some negatives. No blinds on windows so bright in morning and privacy questions. The room not ready at 4 when we arrived. Not huge deal we waited 30 minutes and go in. But when I asked for 1130 rather than 11 am checkout they refused without extra charge. Thought that not good customer service.

Cannot say enough good things about our 2 night stay! One bedroom apartment exceeded expectations. It was very clean, spacious, easy walking to CVS/Target/food options and PNC Park. Early checkin request was able to be accomodated as well which we were very thankful. Highly recommend for visiting Pittsburgh!

This property should not be listed as a hotel. There is NO room service provided during the stay - we were there for a full business week. Parking is an extra fee. Staff was RUDE. We had no hand soap in our suite at all and one half of one roll of toilet paper. There were used Qtips on the floor in the bedroom. All made me wonder how well the place had been cleaned although it appeared clean enough. Biggest complaints were no service for the exorbitant cost, common spaces all closed at 9PM, no property orientation or binder at check-in, no explanation for check out and the overall demeanor of the staff. Many areas on the property also smelled like pot, which is strange because it is a no-smoking property. Penthouse floor was exceptionally offensive in that regard. Pot is not legal in Pennsylvania. Best plus was the access to the gym, but they offered very few classes while we were in town. Good location, just off market square and easy access to other areas of the city. Overall, NOT WORTH THE PRICE.

Tons of modern amenities but old hvac that never cooled off the rooms.

My family and I stayed over the weekend to attend a Pirates game and PNC park was a short walk away, market square is a block away with plenty of dining options, you can use their gym which is great, parking is accessible via the building elevator, great game room and both gentlemen at the front desk were super nice and helpful!

Rooftop option was great!
