Room 28. Terrible bathroom/ shower, no water pressure, water was cold.

This is a very nice property and I think I would stay here again. Reasonably priced compared to local hotels and very comfortable. My room had a problem with the aircon (stuck at 26.5C) and the shower mixer tap had no cold water at all, so no shower without 3rd degree burns. I had to email to remind about arrangements for arrival, but once there all was very smooth and efficient. The accommodation was comfy and clean and well equipped. Not quite as soundproofed as might have been expected from the description, but its hard to keep out all the construction noise of central Birmingham. Would definitely use again

Great place for a short trip away. Everything you need

The property is very nice. The shower leaked and the door was not on its rail. The apartment whilst very nice, is let down by the poor cleaning service. The apartment is dusty in the bedrooms and I could not sleep in the bed as the undersheet smelt very badly of body odor. Someone was coming in when we were out at work which we did not expect but would have been nice for them the let us know and to have had the apartment cleaned. Communal areas all very nice and kept clean. I would recommend this to anyone but does require a good clean.

Apartments are fabulous - asked for a nice quite room and it was perfect. Had slight issue with tehe heating and shower warmth but was more or less sorted on day two. Apartments have everything that is needed in them and they are to a high quality standard

The apartment is best located. It is spacious and clean. Its bed is cosy. Full equipped kitchen. Its staff is friendly. Everything is nice. But some of its hardware failed. The room temperature is controlled by a terribly designed electronic button which does not work easily. With great efforts and over 10 minutes, I slowly moved the cursor from 18.5 degree to 19.8 degree, since each time - if I succeeded in moving the screen’s little man into his box and ordered to move up room temperature - it moved up only 0.1 degree. I gave up eventually and went to bed early. The bathroom is very bad, the basin is so small that I cannot wash my face without wetting my feet. The water is not hot enough and the no-door design of the shower area easily flooded the whole floor after my wash. There should be a on-Site staff to whom you may call for help, to be fair. But I just went strict to bed.

Quiet and Clean

The apartment was brilliant in a great spot to all you need for your stay in Birmingham city centre , we used b4 parking a 5 min walk away and used 8 Waterloo discount which was spot on with price and knowing your car is in a Secure car park while you enjoy your stay hassle free . Me and my wife would definitely stay at 8 Waterloo again thx for great weekend in Birmingham 👍

We loved the décor, the size of the apartment, how clean it was and the location. We could not have asked for anything better.

Lovely apartment in a beautiful building and gorgeous lobby, right in middle of the action in town, close to restaurants and bars and 5 min walk to new street station.

Great Apartment, just really needs Air-Conditioning

Overall is good. Staffs are nice and helpful. The location is great and very convenience. However there is no hot water for shower in midnight... Lucky it is summer time but I cannot wash my hair as the water is too cold. I just can have a quick shower.

Amazing location, small but cozy, only one porridge available for a two person stay, shower was nice, clean apartment and the kitchen area was ideal.

We stayed for one night on New Years Eve. The apartment is really well located for some great restaurants & bars. The apartment is very well presented and has everything you need for a few nights away. The building is stunning inside and out. We were greeted and shown to our apartment by a friendly member of staff, she explained the heating system to us and then left us to relax. Within an hour of checking out we had been refunded the security deposit so all very efficient. We would definitely stay again!

Great central location but no parking provided outside of the venue. Decor, cleanliness and quality of accommodation outstanding- limited check in time was almost a problem as it is difficult to predict traffic problems !If you like the apartment approach- these are suberb but I missed the other services you get with a hotel

Very friendly, helpful staff. Apartment was very comfortable and stylish. The location is ideal for access to city centre, with lots of restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again, rather than a faceless hotel.

I didn't like the big £350 deposit they had to hold over the weekend other than that I loved the apartment. Could do with a chest of drawers in the apartment somewhere maybe bedside tables with drawers.

The apartment was so good I didn't want to come home! The facilities were excellent, everything was as advertised, great location and proximity to central attractions - a real find at an excellent price. If you ever need to stay in central Birmingham, this is the place to do it!

First impressions are great - concierge was friendly & accommodation really well presented. Room itself was excellent & very comfortable. Kitchenette was fully equipped. Nice decor. Comfy bed. Nice shower. Only downside was a lack of air con and it was pretty noisy, being in the city centre, so the windows weren’t an option, however, a fan had been provided. I like the access arrangements - can come and go freely once checked in and it’s very secure for solo travellers. No rowdy parties / kids etc. would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a city centre stay.
