Extremely clean and well organized We did not receive an email regarding check in procedures, but the phone number provided at the front door connected us to someone who immediately informed us of all the details we needed. Really liked the self serve continental breakfast but would have appreciated some fresh fruit. Would definitely stay here again

I was very concerned about the lack of communication. We had a lot of difficulty registering and getting in touch with anyone! Stressful!!

Overall very good experience and would recommend. Lovely large premises, warm rooms ensuite and complimentary continental breakfast, which was appreciated. Check in and out times were not as advertised on hotels.com. We marked low in cleanliness as the bathroom blind was moldy and we couldn't get the window to stay open in bathroom resulting in getting whacked with moldy blind repeatedly. Would still recommend overall.

Great spot for Fort Augustus. Walking distance to centre , lock and more importantly the Boathouse.

Had a brilliant stay, really lovely hotel and our room was great (although bed for me was a bit too hard). Cereal, porridge and yoghurts were provided daily in our room which was good!

Hotel was great, room clean and certainly adequate for what I needed. The lounge was comfortable and nicely decorated. Bathroom compact put had a great shower!

Comfortable all self check in & left key in box. Room was spacious. No fan or window in bathroom & became a very wet room after showering. Overall nice accommodation.

Simple, covid sensitive check in. Everything needed contained in an email in the day. Room (5) was smallish but functional for an overnight stay. The supply of complimentary in room cereal, muffins, yoghurt and plentiful tea, coffee and milk was most welcome. Only downside is a small telly that has no hdmi input, so not able to use firestick. Hotel is a two minute stroll to the village and loch entrance.

We arrived at a full car park and no one at reception to help. Every room was equipped with a mini fridge which had a very noisy fan. Considering they had a communal water filter, a communal fridge would have been more suited.

It is amazing place to stay.Very clean and comfortable place only downside was our room was in front (roadside)so you can hear the noise of vehicle passing by which disturbs sleep.

This was excellent value for the price we paid. Ideal location, good parking. Bedroom clean and comfortable.

Lovely B&B, breakfast was great. The service was really nice and the rooms were clean, tidy and modern/fresh. We stopped for 1 night but if time allowed we would have stayed for longer. Would love to come back again and spend some more time in the area

The staff was very friendly and hospitable. We felt like we were staying at a friends home rather than a b&b. The food was plentiful and very good and the location was perfect for walking and seeing many things. We loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

Beautiful place! Highly recommend. The location was brilliant, 5 min down the road to the Main Street with all the pubs and the view of loch ness. The guesthouse was very cosy with homemade scones and tea available for guests to help themselves and a nice communal lounge area to watch tv and sit by the fire. The staff were also fantastic, very helpful, and the breakfast was great.

My son and I were on a trip through the Scottish Highlands and made our way to the Loch Ness Guest House. We were blown away by the friendly staff, wonderful breakfast, and clean rooms. Thank you to the warm and inviting staff at the Guest House, well done!!

Rooms are way too small. No room to dry after a shower... kept knocking things off the shelves. No wardrobe space. Owners have squeezed in too many rooms. Place was very clean. Staff were great and breakfast was good.

The Loch Ness Guest House is an old, large house, renovated with a modern extension out the back, which has 4 (I think) guest rooms, the breakfast room and the huge lounge with its wood-burning stove -- great on a winter's evening. We were warmly welcomed -- literally and figuratively. Our room (6) was just through the wall from the breakfast room, which was great as we needed to be up early, but wouldn't be if you wanted to lie in. Breakfast was good: great coffee, decent selection of cereals and tinned fruit -- fresh fruit would have been appreciated. DIY toast, also ham and cheese available. The cooked breakfast was good -- I timed my toast to be ready when it arrived the second morning. The room was a good size, twin beds that could be pushed together, and was wonderfully warn when we arrived cold and damp from a long hike. Big shower with luxurious soaps and gels, small sink. Toilet roll behind you when it could easily have been in front, on the wall opposite. While great now, some maintenance on the room is needed -- the caulking in the shower is showing the beginnings of mildew, and the window frames need painting.

Our stay was pleasing, great views from the lounge. Lots of advisory notices, place runs itself, never saw/ met owners, only staff, never saw same one twice. Nice place tho for pit stop.
