Clean room, friendly staff, great location

I love this place when I am staying in the capital. It’s perfect for me. It’s meticulously clean and they attend to small details making their service excellent. I used to work for Four Seasons Chicago which is known for service, and I notice these guys are carefully striving for excellence in service. This hotel is not going to be for everyone. Like, if you’re a fancy, uptight snob, you’re not going to be satisfied here. Also, forget about it if you cannot climb stairs because it has a beautiful set of stairs inside its entrance that go up the lobby. Also, it’s not in the center of the heart of the main action by that pigeon park. It’s down toward Parque Independencia. For me, I prefer a little distance from that area. This place has a classic, boutique feel, with Dominican style. Simple, beautiful, very clean, excellent service. I didn’t want to tell everyone about this place. The only reason I’m writing this review is because I’m so grateful for how kind and professional they treat me. I’m writing this review after my second time staying there.

We had a very enjoyable stay here. The hotel was well located for exploring the Colonial Zone but the thing that stood out here were the staff who were friendly, helpful and took their time to talk with you and answer questions.

I like the location but the neighborhood is to noisy. No late check in.

The location and staff are excellent, however, the fact that there in no elevator makes things a little difficult when traveling with heavy bags.

They desk guys were efficient and friendly. They had a cab outside for me at 2 AM like I asked. TV remote would not control the TV and no hot water flow at the sink. Comfortable bed. Clean. Convenient location.

For the price it wasn’t that bad overall. Could definitely use some better breakfast options and lacks room service.

The hotel staff gave me the wrong information about cancellation policy for coming nights, the next morning the manager acknowledged that but did not take responsibility so I ended up with a charge. Also the area around the hotel is very unsafe, armed policemen are posted in each street from 7am, before that its not safe to go out.

The exteriors and the street so ugly and neglected. I decided to leave immediately.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The ambience was great. The patio was nice for drinks and for breakfast. The breakfast was good, with many choices. Super friendly people working there. Bed was a bit hard, but the room was very clean.

Great stay in Colonial area.

The staff is genuinely friendly and always ready to help. Every time I had any request I was helped by friendly staff. They all had a very positive vibe always. The room was big, and comfortable. The location is great. It’s very walkable, it’s very safe, with lots of shops, restaurants, museums, colonial era buildings and other attractions. It’s my second stay at this hotel, and I recommend it.

Staff was friendly and informative. Hotel was clean and basically quiet. Price for upgrade in room was reasonable and yet cheaper than most areas.

They need to put brighter light on the bathroom and reduce the noises of people other than that is a very good hotel.

Nice hotel and is convenient to many things but only thing is that you hear a lot noises from outside and the bathroom need more light. Other than that is a very good hotel.

Did not like room reserved. No windows and outdated. Need upgrade. Not many choices for breakfast.

The place was clean and the room were nice as well . The Wi-Fi was very bad - had to go to the front desk just to text and place a call . I would suggest them having a new provider - it was so and that when I purchased a meal they could not use my credit card .

Only the rooms had air conditioning. The dining area and hallway was too warm because the open area to outside. The flies and insects flew around while we ate breakfast. The breakfast was good. The staff was always friendly.

If you want to explore zona colonial this is the perfect location. Located on Calle Conde you can easily walk to anything you need or want to see

Amazing people, super friendly. Very central location, you can find everything around. I would stay there again for sure, but I would recommend a refurbishment for the bathroom. Staff very amazing, from the reception to the cleaners

Nice looking hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, easy check-in and check-out, located very conveniently close to main shopping/dining area.

We loved everything about this place. The location is in Zona Colonial and it’s just beside the walking street and a few blocks from the main square. The hotel itself has a lot of charm. The rooms have extremely high ceilings, mini fridges, safes, and hot water. Although the hotel was packed, it was very quiet at night and we were just a few doors down from the front desk. The place has good security as well. Also, breakfast was included. It’s a traditional breakfast of mangu, salami, eggs, toast and fruit. The best part was the staff. Roger, the manager is awesome. He was super helpful and always had a smile on his face. I will definitely be returning to this hotel!

location is good, staff was excellent, beautiful garden

Pros: Very nice people, great location, the colonial zone is beautiful, the staff was very friendly, the place is clean. Cons: The one thing we didn't like was the fact that Expedia lists the place among hotels that include parking, but parking is not included. We had to pay for parking a few blocks from the hotel. Expedia should fix its filtering tool to avoid this type of misunderstanding.

Atencion and very good customer service when you get in and good cleaning all day every where, kitchen and other areas always is neat and clean, treat guess so nice all day. Every time I go to colonial zone is my place to stay to be closed to many restaurants and and taxi service to have fun in the area. owner is so nice and keep good care of guess and Roger, is very helpful and nice all the time. THANX, EVERYONE FOR LET ME FEEL LIKE HOME.
