Absolutely great hotel. Totally secluded to the point you wonder where your driver is taking you. Its a super nice retreat. Staff is great, especially Ivan at the front desk. Totally on the ball with transportation help. Our only small quibble was noise from the room next door, but it didnt last long.

The property was off the beaten path so that taxi rides are required to go everywhere even for small convenience items because there is not a small shop in the hotel to buy them. It This can also make a bit expensive to get around. The pool area is fantastic and the dining area although quiet had a decent dinner and breakfast. The staff was polite and attentive and the taxi are on call or already outside. We had a great taxi driver named Juan that took us everywhere. Just be aware of the logistics of going places.Its very quiet there small bar no activity at the bar.

Amazing property

Ive been in contact with the hotel before arriving. The Price they had given me on transfer was 1/3 of what it was when we arrived. Service was slow during the stay. They missed a fair few things on the menu in the resturant. When we had to check out (wich Took 30 minutes for the receptionist) they did not have the slips of Bills from the resturant that was signed. Also i asked if it could be any faster and the receptionist told me: you should have gotten up earlier. I was chocked and honnestly never before have i tried that a check out with a Card on file could take 30 minutes and the receptionist could be so rude. Stay for the soroundibgs and the pool.

Love the feeling of being in the middle of a rainforest/jungle. Surroundings are magical. Staff go above and beyond to be sure you are taken care of. Will recommend to anyone visiting the area. I want to return to spend more time at this lodge.

Incredibly relaxing space, feels like you are deep in the jungle with modern amenities. Close to get to the Argentina falls and Brazil boarder. Had dinner first evening and the food and service were wonder. Would stay again.

To everyone who reads this comment: I am 61 years old, I have set foot in more than 90 countries so imagine the number of hotels I have visited, in which I have slept, had breakfast, or dined… The SELVAJE LODGE is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful I have ever stayed in, this magnificent, local, simple decoration, from the reception to the bungalow room, exceptional comfort everywhere, and above all always discreet staff at listening to each visitor, a true united team where we feel neither hierarchy nor authority relationship, but colleagues all involved in the pleasure and happiness of each visitor. Those who wrote negative comments must certainly be very unhappy and very bitter in their lives, you know, those people who always have something to criticize, and who are never satisfied! Personally I hate these people! At SELVAJE LODGE, you can't get anything better! Everything is already perfect! So don’t hesitate to spend a few days and nights there and don’t forget to dine there, the meals are beautiful, delicate and so good! Thank you to all the staff for giving me such wonderful moments!

Front desk unhelpful with booking boat rides. Plus interfered with our taxi. The driver who picked us up at the airport did not own us. Second day we had a better driver(Gustavo). We made plans with him for 3rd day. His car mysteriously quit working. We think front desk and Sergei interfered and Sergei took our fare. Overcharged us by $50. The restaurant was excellent

A beautiful place to relax and unwind within the rainforest. The surrounding area was peaceful and it was relaxing to listen to the sounds of nature by the pool. The room size was generous and the reception was very welcoming.

I ordered dessert & my wife found a hardware bolt in the cheesecake on the first bite embedded in the cheesecake. The bolt was in her mouth & she felt it on her tongue, but if she had chewed down on it she would have broken a tooth. The staff didn’t do much too fix the situation.

Beautiful location of the property. Surrounded by gorgeous trees. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I thought the food was decent at the restaurant! And the room was is good condition and felt very clean. Loved my stay here!

Cute hotel. Nice swimming pool and very nice staff. The AC and safe in the room were broken. AC was making a lot of noise all night. Room was definitely humid and in general they could make a bit more effort to look “boutique” since it’s more expensive than the Mercure next door which I stayed for one more night which was actually great. Restaurant was nice.

This hotel was AMAZING. The setting was beautiful, the rooms and bed in particular were very comfortable. The pool and bar was a private luxury and the restaurant in the hotel was phenomenal. On top of that the front desk staff and driver Ramon were excellent. They handled any request or query we had, and provided all of our transportation requirements at a very reasonable price. This hotel, with this setting would cost 4 or 5 times more per night in Canada. If you are planning to go to Puerto Iguazú I can’t recommend it enough

Superb, excellent.

Beautiful and comfortable hotel in the heart of the jungle. A bit remote from the city but the hotel was great! We loved the free breakfast and had dinner at the restaurant as well. Wish they had laundry service on the weekend. But would recommend this hotel for a relaxing place to stay after exploring Iguazu.
