Cannot fault The Laurels for an overnight or longer stay... room has absolutely everything you need including toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities with a mini fridge containing fresh milk and filtered water. Breakfast is amazing.... freshly baked croissants to die for followed by yoghurt, fruit and cereal.... and a full English or any variant as requested.

Loved every part of my stay. Stan and his wife were very friendly, picked me up from Leez priory where I attended an event. Offered me a selection of breakfasts in the morning. Couldn't help but ask about their beautiful house - built from the ground up, the house is very modern with its spiral staircase and underfloor heating. I already wish I was back in the room, such a comfortable bed, and a clean wet room shower. Peaceful stay and great service. Would recommend to everyone

Wow where do I start this is a great location and safe place to stop at. The only issue was that I was not there forever the hosts was also great making this stay person centred for each guest can not wait to used again when in the area thanks

It was well looked after very clean and welcoming

Amazing stay, we booked as we were attending a wedding near by at LEEZ PRIORY this guest house it literally 5 minutes drive away. The hosts Tricia and Stan were fantastic and couldn’t be more helpful. They allowed us to check in early and Stan dropped us to the wedding in style so we did not need a taxi. Room was beautiful with everything you would need. The breakfast was at 9am by Tricia and we were truly waited on. Cannot recommend our stay here enough go ahead and book you will not be disappointed. We will be booking again.

Excellent place and lovely people

The Laurels is a beautiful guest house with lovely friendly, welcoming owners who made you feel more like friends. The bed in room 3 was super comfy, the TV was larger than the normal tvs you get when away, the wet room was clean, warm and easy to use with underfloor heating, blackout blinds and curtains, clean air filter, TV, coffee selection with a mini fridge with fresh milk and filtered water. Breakfast was superb with fresh fruit, croissants, jam, marmalade, orange juice, tea, coffee, cereal and then a cooked breakfast. This is undoubtedly one of the best guest Houses I have stayed in and would highly recommend.

Great place, however. You share the house with the, quite particular owners. So be on you best behaviour. Prepare for the guided tour of your room (it takes a while). Lovely couple and its obviously a labour of love.

From start to finish amazing. In the countless places I have ever stayed this was by far the cleanest, most welcoming and outstanding designed bedroom facilities I have ever encountered.

Lovely place to stay and excellent hosts. House and garden are beautiful! The morning breakfast was lovely and very filling.

Wow! What a fabulous, unique place to stay. The attention to detail is second to none and the hosts were simply lovely. The room and decor were beautiful, and the bed and bedding outstanding. The breakfast in the morning was first class...what a truly incredible place to stay.
