Fabulous location with lovely walks in many directions right from the doorstep. Nice room with great en-suite and lovely Bath House toiletries. Delicious breakfast with lots of choice and the hot selection was really well cooked. Friendly and efficient staff - would definitely recommend and stay again.

A lovely peaceful property with easy access to Ambleside and walks over to Rydal. A brilliant breakfast and the hotel itself was so clean. We would love to return soon

Outstanding… if you don’t mind being a little away from the noisy (relatively speaking) downtown, then this is the best choice. I drove myself so for me it was extremely convenient.

Excellent stay, very comfortable and clean room. Beautiful surroundings and walks. Staff very accommodating and helpful. Allowed us to leave our car for a couple hours after check out while we went on a ramble. Will stay again

This was the highlight of our trip to England! Convenient access to walking trails, stepping stones, gardens, downtown, climbing caves as well as a bus stop let us wander through the Lakes District effortlessly! The English Breakfast was splendid.

Absolutely magical stay at Crow How. From check in with the lovely Jill, the spotless, cosy room, yummy fresh breakfast served by the lovely ladies each day, the naughty cat hanging with us every evening and the incredible gardens. Cannot believe no one else made use of them! Perfect location - 15 min walk to Ambleside and easy access to Loughrigg Fell. Loved the little guides in the guest book in the room - we did Loughrigg Fell (4hrs Inc 1/2 hr rest - not 3 hrs suggested but depends on fitness) and the Nine Lakes Drive (6hrs Inc photo stops and beer at suggested Inn)

This was an amazing property. The room that we stayed in was huge and very well appointed. The breakfast each morning was delicious and it was an easy walk into the town of Ambleside to many options for dinner. We could not fault this stay at all, it was such a special place and highly recommended.

Really lovely space, called to let them know that we would be late, and they made accommodations to suit us. The service was friendly throughout and the place had a cosy feel to it that really heightened our trip!

A fabulous 3 night stay. Beautiful hotel set in 2 acres of gardens with stunning scenery. The hotel was spotlessly clean and was very comfortable. Ideally located just 10 mins walk from Ambleside and 10/15 mins walk from Rydal in the other direction. The free breakfast was of superb quality, with a large choice of food cooked to order . Parking available on site. Staff and owners were very helpful and pleasant. We will definitely return!! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We had a lovely 2 night stay. The hotel was very clean and the room and bathroom were both very large. The bed was a super king and really comfortable. Ambleside was a 12 minute easy walk away and has plenty of pubs and restaurants.
Overall this was an excellent hotel and I would happily stay here again next time we are in the Lakes

The Crow How guesthouse has been very well renovated and is in a beautiful part of the Lake District with lots of very pleasant hiking paths. I can’t think of any negative comments.

The Guest House is down a lane so lovely and peaceful. Room was spotless, breakfasts scrumptious with a wide choice. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend stay at this beautiful place.
