The atmosphere was relaxed, and the location was great

One of my favourite places in a long time - feels like home from the moment you enter. Not luxury, just wooden, warm and welcoming. My room shared toilet and bathroom, but I never had to wait. The staff were wonderful and it was a bonus to be able to eat or drink the restaurant if and when one feels like it. I can't recommend it enough...

everything was just perfect. very nice staff and the cheese fondue was so tasty. the room was very clean with a great view in the morning on the mountains.

We totally loved our stay. The staff made it very pleasant and easy for us, accommodating all of our requests. The breakfast and the quality of the meals overall was excellent and we truly enjoyed every minute we spent there. We will come back.

This is an atmospheric traditional Alpine hotel. Everything is wooden. Kind and attentive hosts. Lovely old room with large windows looking both up valley and across valley. Light and airy, with great views. Bus stop immediately outside.
Difficult to retrofit into a traditional building like this, but I would prefer en suite bathrooms. The stairwell and landing reeked of cigarette smoke. Flies woke us regularly at 5.45.

The hotel is the most authentic ever! Stunning old wood building and rooms, and a beatifull terras with old trees for shadow. The host was very kind, and the food was fantastic. At the same time it was with a very modern bathroom, and they even have a 22kW charger for electric cars (and solar cells).

Peaceful Zimmer with home like feeling
Didn’t realise that getting from Interlaken area our GPC send us to road that required car to be put on train. It was a neat experience, but we just didn’t realize or expected it.

Very friendly staff. Very cozy room and excellent location. Restaurant also had really tasty food at a decent price for dinner
