I loved the homey atmosphere and the home cooked tea and food. And not to forget the ever smiling and service minded owner and staff.

The bed was a bit hard for me and it was little dark on the ground floor facing the courtyard but nothing to complain about because the room otherwise was worth every penny I paid.

Great place to stay in Rishikesh, juste a few minutes away from the main part of Tapovan. Nice rooms with big blankets (nights are cold in december), hot water and good wifi.

My stay at Mama cottage was perfect, the room was clean and spacious, the bed was huge and the location is great, in Tapovan in a very little street which makes it calmer then elsewhere because there are no cars. Mama is a warm and kind person, so is the rest of the family. 100% recommended!
