Got there at 6 room was not ready, staff acted like they didnt care management never came to talk to me she hid in the office. They ended up giving me vouchers to eat for the inconvenience to loco gecko and that staff didnt care to wait on us and was rude. I guess they thought since we had vouchers we wouldn't tip. Idk! Never again. Will never use expedia again. Pricing seems scetchy everyone said we were charged way more than they had to pay. We used affirm so i knew there wld be interest but idk. Just will skip this going forward in my future travels.

No working ice machines, broken elevator, remote control in the room did not work. We also put towels out to be taken and never received new clean ones.

What a disappointment! The pics on the website are from about 10 years ago, parking is an additional cost - proceed with caution as two SUV’s can’t pass at the same time. Ride the elevators only if you believe in God and enjoy the smell of weed. There’s a damage deposit that they charge you twice and then remove if u catch it. The “resort” is nonsmoking but vapes and weed appear to be ok to partake in anywhere at anytime. The swim up bar is nice if you can get to it from all the people. Bring your own towels and toilet paper because u only get one roll and one set of towels for a week. About the only good thing this place has going for it is the DJ that plays music and the Italian Ice vendor set up at the pool. I recommend staying here only if everything else at the beach is booked.

It was fine…not the cleanest but it worked

Actually I would consider staying again. When arriving I entered into a chlorine smell that nearly took my breath it was so strong. Some hallways are carpet and it was so smelly. Do NOT use stairs it smells like strong piss. The room had a foul smell but i turned on AC and opened balcony door. It took my nose an entire day to adjust to the smell. The addtional closet had no hangers and many of the furniture plugs didn’t work but i improvised. Upon leaving, I discovered nasty stains and some black spotting on the side of mattress. I pray its not a sign of bed bugs. Overall the hotel was decent in comparison to what most hotels in the area are like. The pool was my favorite along with location. The staff was wonderful.

I was a little scared because of the hotel reviews, but this was an amazing hotel. It was very clean. The beds were really comfortable, easy check-in. The room and the oceanfront was a plus the lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. I will stay at this hotel again.

Room was not ready at the check in time. I booked a ocean view room and received a partial. Then I told them about it and the said Expedia messed up so Expedia calls and they say that's not what i booked. Lying the front desk lady was rude and the manager, like they could've comp me a day instead they refund me 24 for parking and breakfast vouchers i didn't use. Pool was full of sand with stuff floating in there. I never seen a pool like that before and I've stayed at other hotels and resorts at Myrtle Beach.

A lot of renovations going on. The elevators are very old and slow. Not enough towels for pool area. Pool bar staff great though!

Low quality service and accommodations for the price. Was told at check in that rooms would be serviced- not cleaned every other day. Which was fine except they weren’t. We would get in late and have to go find someone for clean towels, trash bags and toilet paper. The parking garage is absolutely horrible- an accident waiting to happen. The room which was advertised as a full kitchen set up- had no pots- one bowl 3 spoons, a stack of plates and 2 forks. The pool was as always dirty looking and the pool side bar was very limited with hours they were actually operating. The location was convenient but the overall of the hotel was not for money.

Place was dirty, run down and cramped. Our "Premium Suite" with three beds was disappointing to say the least. Pool was dirty and had no towels. People were smoking cigarettes and weed all over the property. 3rd bed had no blanket or pillows and I think the mattress was from the 70s.

When we entered the floor was nasty, the tv didn’t work, there was no wash towel for the kitchen, and the phone didn’t work! And the receptionist was very rude!!

This property needs lobby work and front desk work. The staff is not friendly. They dont tell you about your room or the price when you check in you simply find your way.

Very outdated, elevator made horrible noises, and stairs smelled like pee. Ended up having dirty room so had to get new room, wasn't much better. Would never stay again

Hotel blue is good hotel. The staff are very generous and helpful, but the hotel itself is average. The poolside area is very nice and unique. Overall, the hotel is a nice stay if your planning a quick vacation

Great Oceanfront Property!!

Dirty , cockroaches spotted in the room . Highly not recommended. This hotel and area felt unsafe .

Hotel was clean, however, our stay was for 4 nights and 5 days. No one ever came to our room to sweep, bring towels, empty trash or make beds. The only way we had our trash picked up was if it was set in the hallways. So there were bags of trash outside most rooms the entire time. Hotel staff wasn’t friendly. I went down to the desk at 7am to get new towels for my family and the desk clerk said she would have someone bring them up. I went down 2 more times, still same thing, someone will bring them up. Finally 12 hours later they delivered towels. I booked 2 rooms for our large family and neither room was ever serviced. One elevator was broken the whole time and if you are booked on the 9th floor or higher, the parking deck only goes up to the 8th floor. I will not recommend or stay at Hotel Blue in MB again.

I felt generally the building was very worn. Although our room itself was clean and felt updated. The elevators were very sketchy. The staff seemed very impatient with us and acted as if we knew the building

There is no onsite restaurant at this location. The facility is a little old but it was clean.

It was easy to get on and put of. Some updates are needed. But not major.Everyone was nice and would recommend.

Location and the rooms and pool was nice

Loved the sister hotel that’s really unique and cool that you can go to another hotel. The gym could be a lot better more machines.
