Room was dirty and old. Needs completely redone. Smelled musty a nd there were ants. No coffee maker abd no blankets.

Poorly maintained rooms with heavy smell of cigarette smoke. Common area littered with cigarette ash. Had to repeated ask for clean towels and bathroom essentials. Breakfast no longer served at this location. Disappointed with the Hotels.com website. Hotels.com customer service online not very helpful. Had to call into the customer service department to get any appreciable assistance. Will most like book vacation through alternative options in future

The pool was great for the entire family, rooms were clean with the exception of the carpet which was absolutely filthy. The property/buildings including guest rooms is run down, in need of sanding and repainting. Paint in the bathroom is cracking. The area (Dublin) is stunning with the exception of this property.

I assumed this was a hotel but was apparently mistaken. We double checked on our accomodations before we left for our all day concert. We knew we woulsnt get back to check in till late and were assured it was ok. When we arrived, all doors were locked and we had to call to get someone to check us in. It was 1am, but our worker wasnt the most pleasant (i probably wouldnt be if i were woken up either.) When we got to our room it smelled like stale cigarettes. It looked lile housekeeping did what they could but the carpets were stained, the walls were dirty, the paint was chipping, and overall felt not great. Our travel partners had a different room that they said was clean and nice so im not sure what happened with our room.

I am not sure what the hotel was like as there wasn't a room for me after I had booked and paid. Even after the hotel called me to let me know it was still listed as an option on hotel.com!!!

The staff was extremely nice! Our refrigerator quit working while we were there and they replaced it immediately! The rooms really need a deep clean. They werent completely horrible, but that was the only reason they didn’t receive a 5 star rating from me.

The room was nice and clean and the staff was friendly. Everything you would expect from a Hilton property

Place is a complete rundown. Rooms are not clean, bugs, trash and smells. We got there at 4:00 Pm for our check in and were told they have no clean rooms available because they were short staffed. Very bad experience we had during our stay. We don’t recommend staying there.

Start with the check in. Very rude! More or less threw the papers to sign on the counter. Handed me the room key and said take care. Now the room!!! Just stay away!!! I opened the door and the smell was horrendous!!! It smelled like something I can't describe...maybe it was the trash piled up outside the room. A mouse or some critter ran across the floor. There were holes in the wall, some kind of bug crawling above the bed. The floor was filthy. It looked as if the floor hadn't been swept or mopped in quite some time. I went back to the front desk and the chipper lady who checked me in greeted me again with.... yea. I laid the key down on the counter and told her I could not stay in a place so filthy. She literally looked at me and said ok. Not what is wrong, or let me get you another room... anything. I asked if I was going to receive my payment back and was told that was at the managers discretion. For two days now when I call the manager is not available and have not received a phone call either. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!!!!!!!

the carpet was soiled, there was a red pait stain on the carpet, there were human hirs behind the bathroom door. there were cobwebs in the bathroom, the sofa was dirty, the vinyl desk chair was peeling

We were highly disappointed with this location. Extended stay meant there were a lot of shady characters hanging around and police patrolling. Dogs were barking a lot. Cigarette butts littered the entry to our room. There were burn marks on the couch and the room smelled bad. The window was dirty. I chose this location based on the neighborhood and the rating of 8 but was very disappointed!

No one around to help ever. Front desk only open small amount of time. Dirty. Would not go back again

Home away from home and perfectly located for access to the entire city on foot.

Room stunk of cigarettes and had burn marks on the bathroom sink. Overall room was dirty. Staff was not responsive for OVER an hour when I was locked out of my room and my key would not work after I had worked a 12 hour night shift. Stood in the lobby waiting for assistance and called them multiple times and no answer. Expedia couldn’t even get ahold of them. Ended up leaving to check into another nearby hotel. Do not stay here, the good reviews are old and not relevant. Many better options nearby.

No 24 hour desk; but clerk was on duty for late arrival. Warning that there are no hair dryers available.

Nice place

First room was filthy and in shambles. It appeared as if someone with a cat had been staying in the room. Furniture was shredded in corners. Fixtures were poorly attached. Water controls for sink and bathroom shower/bath loose: toilet paper roll fell apart. I got the impression that the worst handyman of all time had been employed to patch things up. Requested second room. It too seemed to be handled by the same shoddy maintenance person. What a dump.

My room was absolutely filthy. Brown spots caked on the wall in the bathroom. Smelled terribly of cigarette smoke. Half the lights didn’t work. Cheap bars of soap that if you dropped in the tub, they crumbled. I almost feel as if the health department should be called.

The place has potential with cute common areas and big rooms, but the management is terrible and they have let the place become too run down. Our room smelled like an ashtray and our clothes were completely spoiled as a result of staying in such a smelly room. We had to wash everything including our winter coats as soon as we got home. Management is too lax with the existing guests letting them smoke in common areas and in the rooms. The furniture was badly stained and beat up. The bedding and carpets were badly stained. The person overseeing the property doesn’t adhere to the quality standards that I have experienced at other Sonesta properties. Corporate headquarters needs to pay a visit and invest in deep cleaning, refurbishment of the smoke spoiled rooms and stained furniture. Sonesta needs to invest in property management who enforces the standards expected by corporate. We didn’t have house keeping once during our 4-day stay.

Very reasonable hotel. Location was very convenient to restaurants and highways. Room was clean and in good condition except for a few areas, the coffee maker had a moldy filter in it and no one has ever cleaned behind the doors, especially in the bathroom. Except for the coffee maker, the kitchen was very clean and functional. Large comfortable room for a great price. Free, onsite parking was well lit and abundant. This is an Ohio issue and not a hotel issue per se, since the rooms are smoke free, it seems everyone that smokes, smokes pot outside in the areas common to the entries to the rooms so there is no getting away from the smell.

It was a little out dated but was clean for the most part there was holes in furniture

Overall the hotel is good. Sonesta ES is very convenient. The bed and the kitchen are great. There are some cons in this hotel: Different handles in the bathroom are falling off the walls. Noises from the room above me were easily heard in my room.

Amazing stay

Usually, when I stay at Sonesta everything is up to par from the Front Desk at arrival until checkout but this last trip hit a snag. My in-laws were staying in a room as well but the microwave wasn't working. I let the front desk know on Tuesday morning and one was delivered Tuesday night. I spoke to the Manager about the issue and she was rude and said that she didn't know about until Wednesday morning as though it was our fault. I think that when we visit Dublin, Ohio again, I book a different hotel because the Management really lacks tact and has no customer service experience at all.

Conditions were terrible, big bugs all over the place, the room was dirty and dusty. I had to move twice still very displeased

The hotel has done its best to refresh an older facility and having a full kitchen was amazing. However, during my 6-day stay, my keys stopped working twice and housekeeping never came. The phone in my room did not work and after I told the front desk, no one ever came to assess that. The room was marginally clean, lots of dust and debris in the corners, behind the doors, and along the bed frame. Overall, it met the needs of my stay: full kitchen, comfortable bed, and quiet.

After confirming my reservation 2 hrs prior to my arrival with the front desk at Dublin OH Sonesta, I showed up and they informed me at 830 pm and with it being 5 degrees F outside that I did not have a room for the first night. The front desk person told me that they had given the room to a bigger client and that my confirmation email from Expedia was between me and Expedia, not Sonesta. I spent the night in the back of my car at a Kroger parking lot.

The heater in the room barely worked, there was only 1 thin blanket in Winter in Ohio, the staff had no access to additional blankets and were not willing to problem solve to help until she was told that she could go to an empty room to get us another blanket. We will not be coming back to this property.

I had stayed at this hotel many times in the past few years. However, I was very disappointed to see that they eliminated the breakfast. Also, the general vibe was not very inviting

I liked that is was like a mini apartment units. It was quiet and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing was that the couch in our room was clearly broken and stained.
