The worst hotel I see, bed is terrible, shower disgusting and smell week everywhere. Homeless sleeping back the stairs when we go to room.

I didn’t get to stay as we had a medical emergency in my family. I realize they have their policy to cancel the day before of your arrival date, but we had no way of knowing that we wouldn’t be able to go until the day of arrival. Things in life happen that we have no control over and they should allow for emergencies. Now they have taken $194.36 out of my bank account for nothing as I didn’t stay there at all. I feel like I have been robbed and the worse part is now I need that money for this medical emergency. I WILL never book there again!! And I will never go through Expedia again!!. They should know their hotels better!!.,

This motel is the worse I’ve ever been in and when I tell you there was roaches (bugs) everywhere, I literally kill one and another one comes from outta nowhere. I saw baby roaches at first and then all of sudden the big ones was coming out. The sheets had big stains on them and the wash cloths was so old they needed to been thrown away last year. They was dirty looking and that’s from them being too old which they was and not using bleach. I would NEVER stay there again, I rather sleep in my car which I ended up doing because I couldn’t take the bugs anymore. It was. Waste of money $77 a waste of money because I checked in at 4pm but was outta there by 8pm. I advise people to reconsider before stay there, please please please take my words “ DONT STAY THERE UNLESS YOU WANT BUGS TRAVELING WOTH YOU

I didn't like anything I felt that I was in a prison cell; only one small dirty towel was provided. I could see the light around the door since the door didn't have a weather strip. The outside hallways had dead cockroaches.

Gnats microwave did not work room was just a mess

Mattress had stains, like huge stains. Hair and stains on sheets and comforter. Hole in the corner of the ceiling, desk chair broken and a couple of bugs were in the room when we first arrived but did not see any after that. When we walked into the office to check in a customer told us to check our beds good because she found bed bugs in her room. Luckily we didn’t find any bugs in the bed just an old stained mattress.. we brought a top sheet and put it over their linen and had our own comforter and pillows. Will not be booking here again.

Good overnight stay for me and my son..

The employees were fantastic, but the facility itself was completely run down. Rusting out stair wells, doors that don't close, uneven beds, patched holes in walls no paint, worn away paint, no towels or wash clothes.

Bedbugs with no refund for the night we did not stay

Hotel needs renovation. Plaster peeling from the ceiling. Our guests smoking marijuana outside of room. Security lock broken on door. Had a difficult time getting the key to work on the door

the bathroom was filthy, they didn’t have any tissue the light did not work, they had people standing outside smoking weed right by our room they had people selling drugs, when i came to checkout the lady was telling another customer that their microwave was broken and was cursing very unprofessional and dirty disgusting hotel i paid $220 for this room and never again!! i will never ever book at this hotel ever again

No door on bathroom, no blanket, no toilet paper, noisy A/C, no soap, broken lock on door, no trash can.

This hotel was in the city but it was very unwelcoming. The key for my room never worked. I had holes in my wall the bathroom was disgusting and the entire night someone was talking to themselves I will never stay here again

Forth rate rm, holes in walls. Needs paint, baseboard missing, comforter w/cigarette burns and tub. Broken light nr tv, rm heat poor. Never again at RED ROOF!!!

They need to get more sheets,blankets, and washcloths. Most of them were dirty even the ones that were on the bed, luckily I had some with me. Other than that stay was decent.

It was basic room. Nothing fancy. It suited our needs for a work trip. I have paid more for equal or less in the past. One thing is it a convenient location. Its older but the neighboring businesses are new. Just an older place in decent location at a good price. For some it will not fit your needs.

It was beautiful! Nice friendly staff! I love the pool and jacuzzi in all the rooms! Beach view!

Room 207 had extremely large crack in tub and stains. There was dried urine on toilet. Key/lock broken with cabling exposed. Dead roach on floor. Would not recommend using towels and wash clothes provided! Definitely did not appear clean. Not worth price listed!

The room was disgusting, but I had already checked in and I was exhausted. There were no towels, but I bought my own. I got out of the shower and stepped on a piece of glass which lacerated my foot. I went to the front desk and attempted to address the problem with management, including showing them the blood soaked rag, wrapped around my foot at which time they told me they were going to call the police to have me tested to see if I was on drugs. It is with them, and the gentleman was extremely hostile, which was cooperated by the guests in the lobby. I left and went to another location as they would not address this contact they told me there was nothing they could do. So if you go to this location stay at your own risk And don’t do it through Expedia because they will hang out to dry.

Other than Bobby and Tina and their assistance, this stay was the worst RR I have been to. There was hair in the tub, the A/C unit couldn't get hot and one of the beds were missing a blanket. They apparently had no more blankets. Bobby was nice enough to check the unit out and gave us 2 sheets because he didn't have access to get more blankets. The towels were dirty with black all over. I went to get replacements and Bobby asked one of the staff if there were any more towels, the man checked and had none. Laundry wasn't done and the person with the key to the storage wasn't there. I had to dry with my dry clean clothes. The sink was broken and leaked. There was trash and a earring in the room. Thank you, Mr. Bobby again for yours and Mrs.Tina's help. We appreciate you also giving us the discount on the room for the inconveniences that had occurred. You succeeded in all areas in the aspect of what you done to help us, and your kindness. Mr. Bobby keep that energy.

Bed linens stained and dirty, along with towels, hairs on the bed, food in the sink, fixtures broken, paint peeling off doors, and roaches. We checked out the very next morning, 3 nights early through Expedia, and our refund request was denied.

It smelled of cigarette smoke all over the property , it was construction outside, there was a roach in my room and none of the outlets worked . The lights; to charge my phone, nothing. The bathroom door was literally a tall piece of wood; there was no handle and it was too big for the door hole so it wouldn’t even close. The bathroom light didn’t work showered in the dark. And they tried to charge me a early check in fee Check in is at 4pm I was an hour early

After the friendly check-in, it went down hill fast from there. Stained linens with cigarette burn marks is just one example.

When we arrived at the hotel, the person checked us in. Upon getting to the room, there were cigarette burns in the sheets, the room was incredibly dirty and after pulling back the sheets there were tons of stains and evidence of bed bugs. I spoke with the front desk who said they could switch the room, and as we were talking another couple came in with the same complaint about their room. The desk staff then became upset and said we need to contact Expedia and they could not do anything for us. We left and ended up having to stay else where due to the room conditions.

Stayed two nights because there were no vacancies in town. Daughter stayed in another unit. I was appalled at the condition of our room but after looking at hers ours was in a lot better condition. Red Roof should be ashamed to keep this place open. Needles in the parking lot, people hollering all night (one knocked on our door - waisted) and another came in. Bad customer service (attitude) at the front desk, ice machine broke, door locks didn’t work and had to be reset almost every time we used it. Won’t be returning.

The Red Roof Inn in Greenville has many subpar features, but my absolute favorite was the hole drilled in the door instead of an actual peephole. This is a major security concern as you can clearly see all that is happening in the room by peeking in from the outside. And this was a traditional first floor motel room so my door was right on the sidewalk. My second favorite is the bed's thin metal footboard. The mattress isn't long enough for the frame, so it's really easy to kick the footboard.... which sounds like a gunshot. Greenville doesn't need any help with ambient gunshots. It's all set. Other features of note were the broken safety latch on the door, the caving in shower light, the dingy towels, a long hair in the bed sheets, and PEE ON THE TOILET SEAT. If this hadn't been the only hotel left with available rooms when I booked it months ago for my kid's college family weekend, I would have stayed somewhere else. As it was, I wasn't excited about staying at this Red Roof, but I can say my very low expectations were left unmet.
