Very central location, can walk to the main train/bus stations, and easily walk to the tooth temple and around the lake. Closely located to restaurants and shops, literally in the centre of town. Mano (host) is very friendly and has a wonderfully in-depth knowledge of all the buses you'll need 😂. Showers were warm, towels provided, toilets and bedrooms were very clean.

The room is right in the centre of town, you will get woken up by birds or chanting if you don't have earplugs.

Es ist sehr dreckig. Sowohl die Toiletten, als auch die Räume. Es gibt keine Vorhänge und keine Türen. Ich bin nachts aufgewacht, weil mir eine Kakerlake über den Arm gelaufen ist (sie war da. 5cm groß).

Zentral und fussläufig erreichbar vom Bahnhof. Ihr werdet von einem herzensguten Gastgeber erwartet, der zu jeder Zeit hilfsbereit ist. Habe den ganzen Nachmittag mit ihm und seinen Freunden (die nach Feierabend vorbeikamen) verbracht und uns gegenseitig über Reisen und das Leben in den unterschiedlichen Kulturen unterhalten und ausgetauscht. Solche Begegnungen geben mir mehr als ein perfekt eingerichtet Hostel!

Das Hostel ist noch neu und somit gibt es ein paar Punkte die verbessert werden könnten, um den Aufenthalt zu verbessern. Das Hostel befindet sich in einer Seitengasse. Von der Seitengasse muss man in einen Innenhof und dort eine Außen-Metalltreppe hoch ins Hostel. Leider gibt es keine Schilder und es ist schwierig den Eingang zu finden. An den Betten würde ich einen Vorhang anbringen, um ein wenig Privatsphäre zu bieten. Ich war zu dem Preis aber dennoch sehr zufrieden mit dem Hostel und vor allem mit der Freundlichkeit des Gastgebers!

Good location, has lockers, might meet other people there

Hard to find/downstairs there is a homeless man sleeping, there is mold on the mattress and the walls/roof, it's raining into the dorm room. The bedsheets are coming off so you will most likely sleep without bedsheets on the mattress. It's like you just enter an abandoned building because you didn't find a place to sleep at Kandy. If you can try to avoid this place! There wasn't even soap in the sink so you had to bring your own to wash your hands.

There was an issue with the water first day was no-water for 3 hours at evening till night and my second day same but for the full day the water was only available in the night with a low pressure, bed sheets was not clean , anyway we couldn’t except more than this for the amount what the bed for , you have to go down for Wc it’s not in the same room flat and Finally there is no AC which’s very difficult to sleep at night 🥲

1st thing I love about the owner when I arrived the property the owner gave me Banana 🍌 m little hungry so it's good for me and he offered me a cup of tea and the tea was soooo good I like this place and thankyou sir 🙏

A hostel located in the centre of the Kandy city. Near bus station, Railway station, police station and temples. They gave personal locker for keeping our valuables. Reasonable price and friendly staff!

Need someone help to find the way to the entrance. Bed linen looks haven't changed. I asked him, he told its clean and may be near bed mate sat for a while.

Walking distance from Sacred Tooth Relic temple, Kandy train station and many good restaurants. Nice staff.

There is only one small fan for a 6-bed dorm room and no mosquito net so it's a bit too hot to get good sleep at night. The hostel is located in a very small alley called "Secret alley" and quite tricky to find if you come for the first time. Anyway with only $3 for a bed/night it's value for money.

Behaviour of the owner was damn good 😍

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Dorm was a good size and the breakfast was delicious Also they lit incense in the room to chill me out after travelling. That was a lovely touch.

The shower was cold, but it was a hot day so it was actually nice.

There is no sign with the name of the hostel so it can bd difficult to find. But don t worry, there is always somebody in the street to help you and show you the place :)

Location and view is great

Unfortunately I left the hostel at around 11pm, the noise was just too much. people in the reception area just speaking for hours being so loud
