Checking in was a terrible experience as the front desk lady was really rude and just mean from the time we arrived to check in. For the money that we paid we expected better service. We will not stay there again as there are better choices for the money

The building was beautiful, great location and love that there were amazing restaurants within the building. They are constructing a WAKE residential building next to it so there was construction noise in the morning.

Terrible rules. Can’t have guests. Or add on a person to stay in the room. Terrible management and guidelines

Wake was perfect for what I intended. I came to Medellin to relax and that was exactly what I got to do. The staff was extremely helpful to me, probably my first thought about wake. I had a small language barrier, but it didn’t stop the hotel employees from helping through any issues that I had. I highly recommend for night time dinners, the culture is very alive around the area. Great music and food. There is some construction going on in the day time, but I would assume that it will come to an end after a while. Once again many thanks to the staff!

Too noisy cause of construction at 7:00 am everyday

The location was excellent. Walking distance to tons of shops and restaurants. A few things weren't working or were broken, though most were taken care of; the jacuzzi wasn't heated and ready as requested, and took a full day to warm up Staff was very friendly

The property is pleasing to the eye. It’s walking distance from the night life in a seemingly safe area. When I 1st checked into my room there were multiple roaches. I couldn’t get a new room until the next day which they then wanted to charge me for. The next room was nice but plaster was chipping from the wall. My stay wasn’t terrible but I don’t think I would stay again. I was reported by the cleaner for filming since I’m a content creator. Funny enough I found the hotel thru TikTok. I was told there was no filming and was threatened with a fee. I look at the pool n gym guidelines n no where did it say no filming. I was filming my workout. So there’s that

They do discriminate, and they do not tell you their rules till you get to the front desk

The property is very beautiful and well located, however the ac never cooled the room and 2 out of 3 toilets did not work well. Someone had to come to fix them and only 1 was fixed, the other one had a bigger issue apparently. My biggest issue and what I am the MOST UPSET about, is that after checkout I received a charge for a beer that was never consumed. I had read this in previous reviews but hoped that this was not our case. I am still waiting on a response from the manager. This is very dishonest and a very disappointing experience.

This property was very well kept. It’s up a hill which gives it privacy but literally two blocks away from many bars and restaurants! Jacuzzi is not hot but you can always tell them to make sure they heated up before you get there. The view is phenomenal. People said to be safe out there cause could be Dangerous. Absolutely wrong maybe if you go further out but there’s always cops in every block. The vibe and people are amazing and polite!! Definitely would stay at awake again. They are doing construction across the street I guess they making wake part two but the construction didn’t bother me at all! Oh btw pay with cards but definitely have their money (COP). I think having their money is important because most places didn’t take US dollar.

Amazing! Extremely impressive with the tentativeness's/ pleasant/ helpful and amazing every staff member I encounter. Always greeted with a smile. I could not imagine staying anywhere else my next to visiting Medellin. I literally felt at home!! Thank you for such an amazing hospitality!

The sleeping pillows are uncomfortable. Too hard and too thick

The property is really nice. The rooms, the design, the view, and it is quiet. Service is quick whenever we needed some help. Shout out to Ifill, good man! I didn't like that they don't have free housekeeping, only after the 4th day and you have to book in advance. The floors was a bit dirty. Most importantly and the only reason that I might consider other places next time, Their very strict rules regarding visitors. I booked a really big apartment with a hug Jacuzzi but we weren't able to enjoy it with our friends. Even though we were very quiet and respectful to others.

It’s an okay place I didn’t know they don’t clean the rooms each day. Also they need to keep track of the food and drink items in the rooms that they have available for purchase they charged me for a bottle of rum I never had. You might be better off in a traditional hotel for your money.

Short or long stay in Medellin you can't find a better choice. Rooms are large, clean with hotel amenities. We walked everywhere in El Poblado. highly recommend it!!

The bathrooms are tiny. The bedrooms are small.

Excellent service and amazing building with good amenities. Will visit again many times definitely.
