Overall very good experience in the hotel as staff was friendly and check in was smooth and fast. The hotel is also at a very convenient location, walkable to centre of Georgetown and restaurants.
Bed was comfortable but wish there was thin and thick pillows to choose from. Shower head was leaking and bathroom door cannot be closed initially during our stay. Housekeeping did not replace hand towels on 2nd day and 3rd day.

A very small room. Space is very limited. The shower water pressure and the temp were inadequate. A thumb up is the good location to good food, the room cleanliness and the hotel provides free filtered water for drinking.

Starting with a warm welcome by staff on arrival and check-in, our stay was perfect. Location is convenient and within walking distance of local
food, supermarket and shopping mall. The exquisite black and white tiles on the footpath along the entrance of the hotel are reminiscent of the heritage of Penang. . Tea and coffee are available free of charge in the lobby at all times. The room is spacious, well designed, and very clean with daily service. It is well lit for reading or putting on makeup! There is a long wall mirror — perfect for the ladies. Filtered drinking water is free flow.

We arrive around 2:30pm. The official check-in time is 3:00pm…. However, we cannot get in to the room until 3:25pm. As compared with other hotels, they always give me early check-in. It is very unreasonable and the receptionist cannot give me an apology ! I found them they even impolite and impatient! The pronunciation of the receptionists are very poor and you can’t hear what they say. But, the most important is that they think that their English is very excellent ! I said pardon and spoke slowly please, they show me a poker face !
Btw, the hardware of the hotel is excellent and new. Location is good and you can easily access to local food stall and shopping mall nearby. The surrounding environment is also perfect in GeorgeTown … Quiet, Beautiful and Clean.
I think the hotel manager MUST re-train the receptionists or fire them ! Otherwise, they will spoil the reputation of the hotel !

Check-in and check-out was seamlessly fast and efficient. Room is clean. Overall property is clean and very good service staff in the entire property in particular Dhur and Joe. They are so helpful and extend the extra miles to even check for us luggage storage at the airport and at Queensbay Mall

The staff were very friendly and approachable.
The swimming pool and gym was dencent and clean.
The only shortfall is complimentary bottles of water in the room.

My only concerns were— no alarm clock in the room, hot water is somewhat cold for showering. Also there was no safe in the room so I put a sign on my door— do not disturb — so they don’t have to clean, but somebody opened my door while I was half asleep

I would have given it a 4 star if they had given us a king bed and 2 single beds as indicated during my booking 3 months ahead of check-in. We were given a King bed and a queen bed which is not appropriate for our family of 4 adults.
Although they managed to separate the king bed into 2 single beds ( in the bigger master bedroom), the queen bed ( in a very small room) was still positioned next to a wall making it inconvenient for us ( 60plus yrs old ) to get out of bed safely. It was a inconvenience for the older parents.
Location is very good as near to shopping malls and restaurants.

I really love the location of the hotel, lots of famous eateries nearby. Room is very clean and well maintained. However, it can be very noisy in the evening till late, poor sound proofing. My bestie and I went for penang bridge marathon and couldn’t get a good nap before the run

Great location within walking distance to lots of good food and shopping. The hotel has a charming vibe in line with the cultural heritage of the area yet modern in its amenities. Rooms were quite small but functional and clean. Main complaint was lack of soundproofing. Could clearly hear doors slamming and people talking along the corridor; not great for light sleepers

The check in was easy and fast. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Only thing to improve is to ensure to brief the guest on the facilities like where is the pools and gym and also the free coffee. We were not told of these until we went to found out.
Location is quite awkward. A little off from the many good foods (Kimberley street and Penang street). But overall still reachable. The plus point is there is a good local biscuits shop around and a supermarket nearby. Hin Bus depot is also within walking distance.
The lighting at the pool can be improve. Quite dark at night.
The Aircon in the room was not really controllable. We tried to set it at 25°C but after awhile, it automatically jumps back to default setting.
Overall renovation is modern and cozy. Gives a nice welcoming feeling at the lobby.

Only the aircon noise is a bit loud, maybe too powerful. Very good water pressure and PILLOWS were perfect!!!

Toilet sewage might require some proper cleaning as water was stuck for quite some time after shower

Clean, beautiful hotel with modern facilities. Convenient and peaceful area of town. Love it.
Add some fresh local blooms in the lobby will be more charming.
Some staff can be more discreet and lower her volume when she speak.

The front desk staffs are super friendly and very eager to help. The rooms are nice and modern, the location of the hotel is excellent. Looking forward to my future stay here!

I booked Executive Studio King. But the actual room was just a King room. Not Studio.
The actual room was totally different from the picture, so I asked the front desk what I booked. then they explained that the room picture is for a different room (of other hotel) because the hotel is new. I could not accept that explanation because what I expected was a room as described in a picture.
I did not book that room if I knew the actual room was that small and non executive.
The hotel wall is thin, I heard all the noises and talking outside.
