The room was average, quite small and unremarkable. The hotel itself is clean and in a nice area.

Excellent location, friendly staff. Breakfast is varied and pretty decent. There's a rooftop restaurant with nice ambiance. This is my second stay at this hotel. I would recommend it.

Well first off, we were given a room on the main floor. The door was giving complications and it was a safety issue. We have a 7 month old and had to take precautions on the room since it’s close to the lobby. Then I saw the sink on the verge of breaking and there was no soap holder in the shower. Lastly before checkout we turned on the AC and a flying roach fell on top of me and the baby.

Very clean and safe

Needed a place to stay one night, twice, during my stay in DR and this place was PERFECT. As soon as you walk in the decor is simple but elegant, the staff is friendly. Mr. Montero at the front desk was great, the check-in was effortless. They serve a nice hot typical breakfast but what makes it a great experience is the staff in the restaurant; Rosanna, Elvin, Manuel y Mari Cruz were very attentive, kind and offered excellent service. They smiled and greeted my family genuinely. We loved our room best the second time around (Room 215). Overall if you want a place right in the heart of the zoom colonial, don’t hesitate to reserve this hotel.

I’ve stayed at Gran Hotel Europa three times now, and each stay has been excellent. Their rooms are very comfortable, and the breakfast buffet is terrific.

This was my first time staying at the hotel and it was great. Check-in and checking was easy and I will book their hotel again next year

This hotel is located in a very safe, quiet, and strategic area within short walking distance to all emblematic and historical sites within Zona Colonial. The rooftop has nice views, good music (you can hold a conversation), and good food choices. The only pet peeve I have to mention is the bathroom: it's a walk-in shower, the divisor is too small, thus water comes out and one has to constantly use towels to soak it up and prevent it from going into the room.

The place is safety and also the area, all the staff are friendly and the welcome you always with a smile one of the things that I liked it was the rooftop all on fridays and saturday you enjoy the kareoke and the staff at the bar are woundeful.

Overall, it was a wonderful stay! The staff went above and beyond. The location, service, and meal options were all great! I have stayed there a few times over the years, and the hotel has new upgrades and features. I look forward to staying there again for a longer period of time.

This is a beautiful property. Great amenities. Building needs remodeling. Rooms are smelly of bengay. Plumbing is horrible. I could smell when people next room used toilet. Disgusting. Pitty Wyndham is neglecting such a beautiful property. Best part fourth floor terrace restaurant.

Room was not ready one hour past the start of check-in time. Though, staff/ young woman at check-in was very courteous and professional. I have had several encounters with her during last stays, and she always is.
