We stayed 6 nights.The staff were outstanding.They could not do enough for us.The meals Stephen served were excellent. Malinda organised us tours which we enjoyed very much and help us in everyday. The hotel is in a good position and walking distance to the supermarket and other attractions. Fully recommend. 10 stars+ We miss you guys.We became like family.

From the moment you entered through the front door you are made to feel like the most important guest staying there. The manager and staff seem to be a tight team who are solely focused on the guests happiness. Our room was large enough for the four of us, the flowers a sweet touch. The manager listened to our needs we had dinner downstairs and it was so good, even though we weren't hungry. They realised the kids might not like spice and served that on the side. Breakfast on the balcony another beautiful touch especially watching the mist roll through. If you are staying in Nuwara Eliya staying here is a must.

It is hard to come up with anything, the kids felt the wifi wasn't as fast as they would like. But hey we are up in the hills as a parent this was not a problem.

The owner goes out of his way to assist guests, is personable, affable and pleasant to deal with. The property was immaculately clean, the room was a good size, the shower and bathroom were good and the wifi worked. Breakfast on the second morning was better than on the first. It is reasonably well situated for a leisurely short walk into the town centre, or a tuk tuk, if you prefer. There is also a supermarket nearby, which is really handy, and a good restaurant, the Indian Summer. The property appears to have been either opened or bought recently and the owner is clearly keen to build it up and make a good impression.

No heating. For most of the year, this won’t be a problem, but I visited in January and it was a little cold at night. This is normal in Nuwara Eliya. A hot water bottle for guests would be appreciated good idea. Breakfast has been delegated to the sons of the family. They are decent and well-mannered lads but they are not hospitality professionals and they probably need to be given some guidance as to what guests expect, such as being offered tea or coffee without having to request it. Ground coffee would be good. There was a dripping drain at the back of the house, which could be heard in the room. These are minor teething problems, easily fixed. Would I recommend this hotel? Yes, I would.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Queensland hotel, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the delicious food served at the hotel's restaurant. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my kid's preferences, even anticipating their needs without us having to ask. The hotel's location was also ideal, within walking distance to the town center, making it convenient for us to explore the area without needing to worry about transportation. I must give a special mention to the manager, whose helpfulness and dedication truly made our stay memorable. They were always on hand to ensure everything ran smoothly and that we were completely satisfied with our experience. Overall, I cannot recommend Queensland hotel highly enough. If you're looking for a clean, friendly, and accommodating place to stay, this is the perfect choice. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to the area
