The front door malfunctioned but host was there in minutes to sort it out

The apartment was 5 minutes walk from the railway station right in the centre of Lewes. A bus stop and supermarket were about 400 m away. There was an excellent restaurant just across the road. The location would be hard to beat.
Initially, the TV didn't tune into any stations but we fathomed out what was wrong and then it was fine. Some minor remedial work is required on a bathroom wall near the shower end of the bath.

Comfortable beds and furniture. Bath as well as shower over. Plenty of hot water.
Prompt action from hosts to get the WiFi to work.
Several sets of stairs to get to the 3rd floor - not good for the elderly.
Loud traffic noise, though this is cut by double glazing.
No parking on site but the paying car park is not far away.

Excellent apartment-Spacious, modern and comfortable in the centre of the town. It is very well maintained and clean. Hosts are helpful and prompt in regards to communication.

Central location in Lewes; Owners went out of their way to be helpful. We had one query, which answered very quickly.
Nothing to complain about - all was as expected. Parking at the property would have been good.

The flat is very roomy and well laid out with excellent decor and good kitchen/dining facilities. Beds are comfy and bedding for sofa bed was especially nice. It is well located for some nice restaurants and local pubs, Waitrose supermarket, the river and some lovely crafty shops. Short distance to Tesco and flea market. Short distance to main high street shops and to various historical sites. Easy to get to Glynde and Newhaven for walks and to Brighton for beach and more entertainment. We were there for the weekend to see Paolo Nutini in concert at Stammer Park, Brighton - just a short drive away.
A brush and dustpan as well as the hoover for P cling up small bits.
