A wonderful house in the Edmonds bowl, with an easy walk to the ferry, beach, parks, and shops. The owners, who are away for a couple of years, successfully decluttered their home for others, but left their welcoming and generous personalities embedded as part of the comfort the house offered. We used it as a base for a memorial gathering, with others staying in various locations around Edmonds. We gathered here because there were so many comfortable spaces to absorb small and large groups, and the house is tucked away in a secluded cut de sac that offered privacy. There were lots of games and toys for kids, and we enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen with a view of the ferry arriving and departing in the distance. The house has a lot of warmth, with comfortable furniture and lighting- clearly reflecting the owners’ good design sense and thoughtfulness. We appreciated their distant presence, and hope they are having fun wherever they are.

This house had all of the amenities that we wanted with an incredible view of Pugent sound. It is very quiet with a woods and a stream on site and was within easy walking distance of town and the beaches.

This is a lovely three-level home with all the conveniences, beautiful views, privacy, and is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the quaint town of Edmonds and the ferry. Our family of eight was happy with the accommodations, although the hide-a-bed in the basement could use a better quality mattress and the bedside lamp switches in the master are difficult to find. The kitchen is spacious. We were surprised to find an assortment of spices and cooking oil. There were plenty of dishes, utensils, pots and pans, mixing bowls and baking dishes. Basic appliances included a coffee brewer, toaster, blender and tea kettle. The open floor plan on the main level is very conducive to family gathering and meals. The private office allowed my son-in-law to work uninterrupted. Lookout Lodge is a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and hope to return soon.

The place was great. It was very clean and very simply and beautifully decorated. The views were amazing. It is close to downtown but feels like you are in the mountains. I really enjoyed my stay.
