The unit is very clean, spacious and safe. It has a homey feeling. The staff was very polite and helpful. I know this is something small but i love the scent in the wardrobe where we hang clothes. That really smelt good.

The extra blankets in the wardrobe had an offish smell. It was a struggle to open the sliding door. They probably need to get that fixed. The Wi-Fi connection was a little weak.

Please update your booking.com profile to note that when there is load shedding, the generator will not be turned on. There was no hot water (they apparently have gas geysers but the water was ice cold), the toilet seat does not sit well and the chair in the room needs to be replaced. I specifically noted that I was writing a 48hr exam and needed WIFI and asked if there was a generator. I even attended at the place before booking and I was told that there is back-up power (no mention of the "not during the day" rule)

The response time of the owner and the attitude of the staff (Lydia did not answer my calls when load shedding hit at 22h00 in the evening). I sent a message to the owner's brother (as advised earlier in the day) and I am still awaiting a response. The place needs to be cleaned better and the lighting in the room and bathroom were not good.

Their rooms comes with a mini kitchen. You will have everything you need.

Where I was booked in, not really sure if it’s a mortar wall separating the units because when your neighbours shower or flush the toilet the noise is unbearable. That’s the only serious thing I could change about the place.
