We had a pleasant and enjoyable stay. The pool, garden and tennis court were perfect for a quiet private and safe vacation. Our cute neighbors ( 2 cats) paid us visits throughout the day. Sunsets were amazing from the pool area. It’s a nice size property compared to other villas in the island. The two beach were empty. It’s a good walk for some exercise from the villa to beaches (approximately 2 miles). Supermarkets and restaurants are few minutes away so it’s convenient. The island is tiny and it’s very easy to go around. Watch out for those speed bumps. Mosquitoes are pretty aggressive so make sure to apply repellants. Power outage is common in the island, we experienced it only once for a few hours. We didn’t mind it at all. It’s nice to disconnect from the world. Two things I wanted to be better; First, the kitchen small appliances, pans and utensil need to be replaced as they are showing some wear and tear. Second is the main house bathroom, it’s tiny. We felt cramped whenever using it. Towels need to be replaced. The bedroom from the main house is on the second floor and bathroom is on the first. The owner of the property was responsive to our questions and requests which was impressive. Giovanni was helpful in making sure we make the most of our stay in Saint Martin. Overall, it was a great stay. Thank you Valerie, Giovanni and our housekeepers. We enjoyed our stay and look forward for a future visit.

Location was fantastic, close to everything but definitely need a rental car. The property manager Giovanni was awesome with helping arrange day trips on charter boats and great tips on other activities and restaurants. The dryer doesn’t work so make sure you’re hanging towels out to dry in a covered place since it rains a little each night

we are a family of seven that have rented many vacation homes in USA, Caribbean and Europe, Villa Azur is definitely the best vacation rental ever! The house is located 10 minutes from the airport, on the French side in a gated community with geourgeous homes. Villa Azur is a compound of two houses easily connected thru the pool area. The main house has a huge bedroom on the second floor, a bathroom downstairs and the kitchen, living room and dinning. The house is very open as it has automatic hurricane shutters that are easy to roll up for during the day and roll down at night or when leaving the house. The second home has a huge master bedroom on the second floor, it is gorgeous, and two bedroom downstairs with in suite bathrooms. All bedrooms have very comfortable king size beds. The houses have been decorated with an outstanding taste, the pictures of the house look great but in reality the house it's even much better than the pictures which I did not think it would be possible since I fell in love with the house the minute I saw the pictures. The house offers so much to do which invites to sharing great family time together. Three is the pool, ping pong table, tennis court (lighted at night), jacuzzi, big gas fired grill. The kitchen is a gourmet kitchen with microwave, conventional oven and even a steamer oven! The house is surrounded by an extensive land with beautiful trees, birds, lizards, iguanas. You can breath peace, nature, harmony, beauty in every breath you take in that house. We were there to celebrate our daughter's graduation from MEd School, a special occasion which the family time we shared in Villa Azur and the memories we created there made it Memorable. My friends and I just spent a week at Villa Azur. It was incredible. This was our 9th visit and 8th villa rental. Renting a villa can be very stressful, especially when you are in charge of 5 other people's vacations, but Villa Azur surpassed all of our expectations. The pictures are accurate (not always the case). The amenities including pool, hot tub, tennis court and ping pong table were used multiple times per day. The state of the art mosquito repellent system is impressive- and kept the bugs away. I highly recommend renting this villa. Geraldine, the agent on the island, was extremely helpful and very sweet. She had tons of suggestions and was available when we had some questions and needed help. Thank you to Valerie et Fabrice for opening your beautiful home!!! We look forward to next year's stay. Rune

Our stay at the villa was truly relaxing. The best part was the view as the sunsets were breathtaking. The villa and grounds were well maintained. Any issues were immediately addressed by our concierge Geraldine who was timely, friendly, and responsive. The only setback were the mosquitos, but again the situation was addressed in a timely manner. Would consider coming back. Thank you for an excellent vacation!

The villa is beautiful. Great area and accessible to all other areas. Very secure and spacious for all. We had 6 people but 8 would have had plenty of room. The covered outdoor lounge area is where we spent the bulk of our time. Geraldine was very gracious and took the time to give us details as to where and what to do on the island. She was respectful of our privacy and yet came over when needed. We all would recommend Villa Azur in the future. It is a great place for couples...or for families with kids. Tennis court was an added bonus! Cheers to Valerie and her beautiful home!

This villla is fabulous and was perfect for us in every way!! The owner and caretaker were wonderful and extremely responsive. The home is beautifully designed an decorated with all amenities you could possibly want or need. The retractable walls in the main living area and kitchen made the entire home feel like you were living outside. It was our first time staying on the French side of the island and we would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing time at Villa Azur! The villa was super clean and exactly as pictured in the photos. My friends and I loved all the activities at the house, the pool, the ping pong table, the tennis court, and of course having this all to ourselves. We enjoyed the house so much that it was hard to leave each day to discover the island. Greg, the concierge for the house, was so great! He was always available when we needed something and/or had questions. He truly made it his mission to ensure we were happy and had what we needed. THANK YOU GREG! One morning when he was swinging by, he even brought us French pastries for breakfast. If you are reading this review and considering this villa...the price is great for the house, the location is close to shopping/grocery/mullet beach, super clean, photos are exact, and having individual rooms with keys for each makes it perfect for several couples or family members. One note, if you are renting, make sure you have Greg turn on the mosquito misters day 1. These misters work really great and you will need them, after all it is a Caribbean island. My group and I did a long weekend at Villa Azur, and the only regret was not making it a week. The house and grounds are straight from an "Amazing Vacations" blog or magazine - if you can't tell from the pictures, the main house allows guests to go completely open air. Heaven is good music playing from the Bose speakers, cold beers in the fridge, cooking ribs on the grill and spending time with your friends and family in one of the most picturesque pools on the island. Villa Azur is also completely private, and feels like your own private getaway without other vacationers in your field of vision. Very close to dining and nightlife, but not too close that you don't feel like you have a private oasis. I would also be remiss if I didn't add that my group and I were stuck in New York because of a hurricane, and were worried about our stay. Together Valerie, Greg, and Lillie did everything in their power to make sure we were accommodated and thought of while we tried to get down. If you're one day sitting on the floor of JFK wondering what's happening to your vacation, you'll appreciate having owners and concierge as understanding and attentive. My group and I would love to one day make our way back to St. Maarten, and Villa Azur will be the first call we make.

My group and I could not have been happier with the villa and while the pictures are beautiful, they do not do the villa justice! The views are stunning, the grounds are spacious and well maintained with plenty of privacy, the rooms are tastefully decorated, and there is plenty to entertain with the pool, ping pong, and tennis courts. Every little thing you could want or need is provided and had my group not wanted to explore the entire island we would have been happy never leaving the villa. The villa was also in close proximity to plenty of beaches, restaurants, and casino so you do not have to venture far if you want to see more of the island. Both Lily and Greg were very helpful and the owners were very responsive to our needs. We could not have asked for a better experience and are already talking about our next trip to Villa Azur!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Azur. The property is immaculate from the indoor/outdoor bar, private pool, hot tub and tennis court. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!!! The gated community of Villa’s was a short distance from the beach, shops, bars, restaurants, casino and clubs. We would definitely love to come back to St.Maarten and stay at Villa Azur again.

We are a family with 2 Children 11+8 years old,and this villa was perfect for us It is very well planned,with outdoor jacuzzi, private tenniscourt , tabletennis Very well planned kitchen with excellent qouality and Everything you need to make your own food.There is 2 houses connected to eachother by a very big terrass. Take a walk down to the hotel "La Samana" and eat a nice breakfast, fantastic wievs Go to the fishmarket in marigot (a short drive) and by lobster to put on the outdoor grill and just sit on the terrass and Watch the sun go down.
