Muy bien ubicado en zona tranquila, cerca de Pedro Tea plantation, a 40min andando del ruidoso centro. No hay bares ni ruido, se descansa bien. La familia es encantadora.

The family is incredibly warm and helpful. The evening meal is very tasty and inexpensive, and you can accompany mom while she cooks! The guesthouse is a little further away from the center, but you can get to the center/bus station quickly and easily by bus, which stops right outside the door. You can start the Pekoe Trail 22 to Kandapola directly from the accommodation and a beautiful waterfall is only a 20-30 minutes walks away.

Ik had een eigen scooter dus was het geen probleem maar de accommodatie ligt een stukje buiten het centrum.

Superbe séjour. Les chambres sont impeccables. Les petits déjeuners et dîners sont délicieux. Vue sur les champs de thé. Hôtel idéalement situé proche d'une fabrique de thé et de cascade (les 2 accessibles à pied). Station de bus devant. Centre ville très accessible. Personnel aidant et accueillant. nous avons adoré notre séjour à green villa. Merci beaucoup

Not warm enough shower

The guesthouse is run by a warm welcoming family who will treat you like a part of their family. The father has the most beautiful smile, the mother is a very good cook (you can request breakfast, lunch and dinner for an affordable price), the sons are very responsive and attentive to every detail. The location is probably a 30 min walk from city center, but just in front of the guesthouse you can catch any bus that will bring you to the city just for 30 Lkr. Within a 5-min walk from the guesthouse, you can visit the Pedro tea factory which was the highlight of my stay in Nuwara Eliya. Not far from the guesthouse you can climb to the Lover’s Leap waterfall, but I couldn’t do it as it was raining heavily during my stay. There is also a good wifi connection, so I could comfortably browse the internet.

It was a bit cold in the room (there is no heater) but the owners provided the extra blanket. There is hot water (which is the big plus), but towards the midnight it becomes less warm.

I like the mountain viewing and pieceful area, far from city. If you wanted to jog and walk with the beautiful site;specially you can smell the tea leaves arround the area and take note it's a cold place area,. It's like Bagio in our country of Philippines.So be ready for that. Aunti, uncle and family is approachable and they will cope up your expectation. They are loving, caring as well, includingly I like the food they prepared and showing me how to make it.

The stay at Green Villa was wonderful. Clean and cozy and the hosts are really nice people. Always helpful if you need anything and they guide us correctly for all our local needs. Home cooked meals were delicious.

El agua caliente de la ducha.

Tenemos más de 600 reservas en esta web, quizás más de 1000 hostales. Es la primera vez que tenemos que marcharnos por el frió y las incomodidades del lugar. La habitación no tiene techo, solo el tejado de la casa, luego oyes todos los ruidos de fuera y entra muchísimo frío. Las sábanas tenían moho, las almohadas eran dos piedras y tuvimos que pedir una manta extra para no morir de frío. La puerta de la habitación no puede cerrarse, si lo haces no puedes abrir por dentro, están hinchadas. La ventana deja pasar todo el aire en la habitación. El baño tiene una puerta de cristal que deja ver a la persona, su silueta mientras se ducha, un espectáculo. Para el resto de huéspedes. La cerradura de baño apenas cierra. Nos quisieron cobrar por el desayuno que estaba incluido en nuestra reserva. El desayuno es muy básico, llevamos un mes en Sri Lanka y hemos desayunado de todo, pero al menos una taza de té o café incluía en el desayuno.. pedimos café y también me lo quisieron cobrar. Nos marchamos intentando explicar que ese lugar no es apto para turistas..por el frío, la falta de sábanas, mantas y sobre todo techo.pagamos lo que usamos, una noche pero ni eso se merecen las instalaciones. A todos los turistas que visitan Sri Lanka, dejad de dar puntuaciones altas si la familia os sonríe...la gente necesita un lugar limpio y habitable y por eso lee las reseñas, no necesitamos saber si son simpáticos contigo.

I loved staying at Green Villa. I was amazed by the hospitality provided by the entire family. From the moment I booked the stay, they guided me to reach here. Helped me explore the places nearby and served the most delicious homely food at their dining table 🥰 It was one of the most delicious food I have had in this Srilankan trip.. I think the secret ingredient in the food was the love they have towards the guests. Moreover I felt like a family member. I would love to stay here again if I come back to Sri Lanka.
