Good

The Prima Hotel Jongno is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The suite was spacious and clean with a wonderful view of the city. The breakfast was delicious and well worth the price. The best part, however, was that the staff was so incredibly helpful! My partner lost their passport and the front desk workers were kind enough to assist us in calling the places we’d been to ask if they’d seen it. I cannot stress enough just how grateful we were to have such wonderful service, not just then but throughout our entire 2 week stay. I would gladly stay here again!

Our stay at Prima was fantastic from several perspectives. The hotel’s location (Insadong) was perfect for tourist and local activities Located in a very local, artsy area - filled with galleries and studio, antique stores, cafes m, shops, and restaurants. There were at least 4 bus stops within 50-100ft of the front door -due to the hotel’s proximity to Jogyesa Temple (also the name of the stops). It is 2.5 short blocks to Subway Line 1 (connects to Seoul Station for all trains and 3 subway lines). 7 mins walk to Gyeonbukgong (main palace) and 5 mins walk to Gwanghwamun Square (King Sejong statute). Great restaurants and cafe all around. Best of all - nice, friendly and courteous staff - plus clean and fresh rooms. HVAC was quiet, controlled humidity, and kept the room cool. Inexpensive, clean self-laundry facilities. Newly renovated about a year ago. Would return in a heartbeat. Expect prices will go up as more guests discover it. Only complaint: not enough storage space for clothes. I think many guests stay only 2-3 days - not 7 days as we did. Could hang about 5-6 pieces in the closet - and no dressers - although folded clothes fit on the narrow shelf below.

Clean hotel. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Rooms are a little but small, but clean. 15-20 minutes easy walk to main attractions like City Hall Area, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Myeondong street market, Budist Temple, Namdemun Market, and subway station. Insadong street (suvenir and food stores) is just behind the hotel.

Airport shuttle and subway station in 10 min. Clean and tiny. Good location to travel Insa-dong.

Nice staff, clean room, and good cafe

Wonderful accommodations. Staff was very friendly. Only downside- newly renovated bathroom has a short tub and when taking a shower, water spouts outside of the tub making the water go everywhere. The tub is high and when stepping out, can cause a trip/slip hazard.

The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are clean and complete in their furnishings, but I was especially impressed by the friendliness of the hotel staff. Once arrived in Seoul, I had a problem with a credit card at an ATM nearby the hotel. I turned to the staff who made themselves available, making several phone calls and personally escorting me to the bank until the problem was solved. The manager referred me to an apprentice who took care of my problem for at least an hour and was not only efficient but extremely nice.

The hotel was OK, the most notable point was the prime location nearby to some Seoul main cultural spots and in any case well connect with the metro / buses. The room was OK but we would have expected something a little better considering the other review (we had basically no window and no light in the room). To note there is a shared laundry service for hotel guests.

The property was nice and staff was friendly - they even gave us early check-in. The room was quite comfortable and well serviced.

Everybody was so nice and accommodating. The hotel was beautiful and the room was clean. Great location a lot of things we wanted to see was either walkable or close to subway station.

Liked being recently renovated. Disliked that the bidet water temperature did not exist. No warm water for the bidet.

Great place and the location was perfect! Extremely comfortable but little small for 3 twin beds. Wished the room was slightly bigger. Cleaning crew are amazing.

We got this hotel as a break during our 15 hour layover to Bali. The location is a bonus. It is a long drive via taxi about 1 hour at 2100. But, the next morning we were able to walk in about 15 minutes to the large palace. The hotel had a great breakfast too. It seemed like there was something for everyone. We checked out at 11 and noticed plenty of people had been able to store their luggage in a nice blocked off area in the lobby so they could view the city. If we stay in Seoul again I may book here next time.
