Room on 14th floor was very spacious and clean. Bathroom and shower excellent. Breakfast buffet was amazing. The property is near various small restaurants and Lawson supermarket.
Handy cafe-restaurant on ground floor, always very crowded at lunch time.

Beautiful hotel. Staff are amazing - can’t do enough for you & very polite. Well located.
We didn’t eat there or use any facilities but our stay was excellent.

My stay was great. The staff was courteous and attentive. The room was large and fresh. The hotel is well-maintainer. The area around was walkable with lots of options to do as well. I look forward to staying again at Okura!

They above and beyond to help their guests. Typhoon 10 was slowly approaching yet the hotel was unflustered and continued to serve their guests with the utmost respect and efficiency. Overall, a wonderful hotel to stay at. Kudos to all the staff.

Really nice hotel in a great location in the modern area with many restaurants and shops but just across the river from the older area with many of the shrines and temples. Mattress was a little firm, but that seems to be the norm in Asia.

The hotel is quite dated but rooms are spacious. You have to pay extra for the hotel fitness centre which was disappointing as we booked this hotel because it had listed a gym as a facility. Staff were friendly, and location fine.

What can one say about The Kyoto Okura? Par excellence - the hotel, the staff, the location. Leaves nothing to be desired. Will be very difficult to stay anywhere else were I to visit Kyoto again.
