Hôtel La Pérouse is unbelievably charming. It is close to everything, including the market, which is the epicentre of old Nice. The property is very clean and exceptionally well appointed, and the entire staff is attentive and helpful. We enjoyed a spectacular view of the Mediterranean from our “Superior room”. The pool area is exceptionally clean and so is the pool. We swam at the end of every day before dinner. This was idyllic

The hotel and the staff were all superb. We had only needed one night this trip but I would absolutely stay again at this hotel and for several more nights to visit Nice and the surrounding area on the coast and in Provence.

We had high hopes for this hotel as the photos and reviews were so great. And I must say, everything was so nice and exceeded our expectations. The room was always so clean, beds comfortable, pool area relaxing. This hotel is like another world inside of Nice with breathtaking views. We look forward to returning!

We stayed here for 8 days and every single day was perfect, in so small part thanks to Leo! He went out of his way to make us feel welcome and helped us with reservations, recommendations and helping us get around! The hotel itself is beautiful and not at all confusing (as others have said). On our first day we were given a detailed tour and it was actually pretty easy to find our way around this unique and beautiful hotel. Location is ideal, super close to the amazing Castel beach club, restaurants and shopping! Honestly every thing was perfect and we can’t wait to come back!

Check in was stressful as I had been delayed in arriving at the hotel and due to the complex layout the employee at the desk insisted I waited for the valet. I had to wait 15 minutes for him to come and was late for a dinner reservation as a result. The valet, who I didn’t ask for, then stood in my hotel doorway expecting a tip which I didn’t have at that moment as I’d just arrived and didn’t have cash. He walked away swearing (he must have assumed I didn’t speak French) because I didn’t give him a tip. I will say the valet the next day was different and went over and above to help, and the member of staff who managed my check out was very helpful and this made the experience much better.

Lovely staff, perfect Nice location between beach and marina, excellent restaurant, good pool, PERFECT views. Only issue is a slightly convoluted internal layout which means having to take more than one lift / staircase to get to most rooms (and three to get to some - though the benefit is you are higher and get a better view).

I thought this was a bargain for what you get. Splurged for a room with a balcony - well worth it. Spacious. Hotel staff is incredibly helpful. Very close to old town Nice. Odd layout with two small elevator rides to get to the rooms - other than that it is fantastic, but once you get to your room it is wonderful.

La Pérouse is a beautiful place to stay. The staff are professional & warm & want to meet your needs . Wonderful position overlooking the Baie des Anges & close to the harbour, the old town & the tram too. Easy to walk to many places & easy to get to the centre of Nice & contemporary shops etc

La Pérouse is a beautiful place to stay. The staff are professional & warm & want to meet your needs . Wonderful position overlooking the Baie des Anges & close to the harbour, the old town & the tram too. Easy to walk to many places & easy to get to the centre of Nice & contemporary shops etc
