Double Tree in Crystal City.
I had the pleasure in partaking from your breakfast in the main dining room and both the food and especially the service...were fantastic!
While the common areas are what is expected of DT, inviting, comfortable, bright and spectacular...unfortunately the rooms were falling short. Maybe because of change of season, we experienced issues with the heat and again, maybe because it is only just now getting a bit busier, the refrigerator was unplugged and the food reserved ...ALL of it, became spoiled. Now, though also the room was a bit rundown, with missing light covers and water stains on the ceiling, I cannot dismiss the attention and responsiveness by hotel support. So, all in all, the service and dedication of the amazing staff definitely helped the hotel with its other and while few, somewhat important shortcomings. Thank you Double Tree!

Not worth trying to find parking. Just pay for it to make your life simpler. The room didn’t have anything wrong. Overall a perfect stay

The room was huge. Plenty of space. Clean. The price was very reasonable for the location. I will definitely stay there again.

Customer service was terrible idk if it’s a language barrier but I can read body language . Food was horrible and expensive . Starbucks they be using ur brand the coffee sucks fyi . Tv not working and by the time they came to check I’d given up on it

The hotel is great. The stuff is very friendly. The room is big and clean. The only problem is checking in line was too long and take more than 10 minutes for checking in.

Stopped here on the way home from a college visit for my son in SC and found it needing some upkeep.
We rolled in really late (12:30pm) and the check-in was good. Didn't wait too long and checked in quickly.
The hallway on our floor was kind of warm and damp (temps in the area were not that high) as was the room. Even after running the AC at 68 degrees, the room continued to feel damp (our parking ticket was soft and pliable from the dampness). The AC unit itself had rust on the top.
The bathroom needs some work. Mildew stains on the tub caulk. Damage to the sink basin stand. Tub clogs after first shower and the fan doesn't seem to help remove moisture.
And while it may be "normal" for hotels in the area, the cost of the breakfast in their cafe is ridiculous. $29 for the buffet and most non-buffet breakfast items are so expensive (many are $20 with no coffee or sides included), you may as well just get the buffet. And they didn't post the menu/cost outside. So you don't see it until you sit down and they've already given you coffee/drink. I almost paid for the ($4 each) coffee and left.

The room was nice, but I will never stay here again. I had problems from the moment I arrived. First, there is no where to park in order to go to check in. I get to check in and after 20 minutes, was told the parking fee was on my card (mind you, you will pay $46 dollars/night to park and there is very limited if any other parking). I get to the deck, and my key doesn’t work so I have to back to check in to get this fixed (again, needing to find a place to put my vehicle to do this). I finally get into the parking deck and it’s a mess- spent 20 minutes to FIND a spot. The deck is very small and you will do a lot of backing up and turning around just to get around the corners. The signage leaves much to be desired and there’s no way to know if the lot is full. Needless to say, I was extremely aggravated that it took nearly an hour just to check in, park, and get to my room. This place is best served for people who are commuting using another form of transportation. Even though the room was nice, quiet, and clean, it is not worth the aggravation of dealing with their parking situation.
