Stay was nice. Liked that dogs are allowed. Our room looks aged and worn. Could definitely use an update. Staff was great. Room clean and breakfast was good.

Loved being in the area for the first time. Granddaughter will be at school there for a while so there could be more visits.

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay! I went in with minimal expectations, knowing it's a small hotel off the highway near a college. The room was spacious, the front desk was friendly and had free snacks available, the room had a not-so-mini fridge, and the breakfast was yummy! A good option for staying in San Marcos close to the freeway if you need to get to other places in North SD County quickly.

I was not able to use hotels.com gift card. I very disappointed with hotels.com. Every hotel we stay at does not honor the gift card.

The room was not really spacious and in the morning it was pretty noisy where noises would wake us up. But breakfast was good and staff were nice!

When I checked in with Amanda it was awesome! She was super welcoming and the process was fast and easy.

The floors and walls are paper thin at this property. We could hear people on the floor above us running through the halls and slamming doors, big thuds on the floor. The heavy curtains did not shut, only the shear ones. If im staying in a hotel its usually for vacation like this stay. I do not want to be waken by the sun, the second it pops out. The staff was pretty friendly and it was nice that it came with breakfast.

The lady at the front desk was very kind and helpful. Oh my first shower, I found the shampoo is empty. She handled that right away while I was out doing my business the first day. When we first arrived at 3 o’clock one of our rooms was not ready, but she found another lesser room and we excepted that. Everything was fine though, and I appreciated her and how she handled things.

Front staff are wonderful. There was a leak and they told us about it, rooms outdated and lobby stunk becaise of leak. Evening staff and morning staff were so friendly and accommodating, they are excellent. Good breakfast, great options. Good for families.

Bathroom needs an upgrade. Tub was repainted horribly. Tiles were meh... The bathroom just needs an upgrade. Customer service was pretty good esp housekeeping.
