Always a comfy and unique historical experience at this hotel. Have stayed a few times and will stay again! The bar at the restaurant downstairs has the most extensive whisky/scotch menu of anywhere I've been, it's awesome.

Lovely night stay, close the ETSU campus, and wonderful accommodations.

This isa wonderful hotel. Old world charm with modern conveniences. Every employee from the front desk, to the cleaning lady, restaurant (Wellington's) to the bartender were happy, and personable. I definitely recommend this hotel if you happen to be in Johnson City.

I stayed here because the weather was very bad and I didn't want to drive anymore. It seemed expensive but I got a good rate for midweek. I chose it because of the spa services. I was stressed. It was a great beautiful historic hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, albeit a bit old fashioned decor. The spa services were amazing. So many offerings. Even better was the bar. A great whiskey selection. I highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel with a staff of warm and professional employees that go above and to beyond for their guests. I’m very particular about cleanliness and found the rooms to be so clean that I even enjoyed a relaxing bath! The beds and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud and the linens and towels don’t smell weird like most other hotels. I also loved the large desk and workspace tucked in a niche with plenty of room to work. The hotel offers plenty of free parking in a rear multi story covered parking garage. The hotel restaurant / room services were great;But, the Spa is an absolutely amazing must go to!!

Very close to my destination ETSU. Nice hotel, clean & quiet. Excellent steak restaurant downstairs.

Liked the hotel hated the fact that trains can be heard at 330 am blowing their horn and again at 5 am

This is a great place to stay especially if you are traveling with children. They offer great amenities, the staff is friendly and are very welcoming. I highly recommend this place.

History

This is the best hotel in Johnson City!

This is a charming hotel that has a lot of historical features. Parking is very convenient in a garage just right across a driveway out the back. Our room was quite spacious and the bed and couch very comfortable. The bathroom had both tub and shower and was very spacious as well. The walls were unexpectedly thin and though the noise wasn’t necessarily disruptive, it was unexpected. Muffled conversation was audible. We had reserved a king room though when we were greeted the desk rep said it was a double queen room. After consulting with another employee she made the change with no question. There is a train track that is right next to the hotel and there were frequent trains. Again, not disruptive for us and much more the whistle than the rumble. For anyone going to the ETSU campus - this property is extremely convenient, right across the street.
