Our second time staying here over a couple months. I forgot how horribly uncomfortable the beds are. Absolutely horrible. My back deserves better. The ice machine was broken during the first visit, and it seems it will be broken indefinitely. Owners are friendly enough. Nothing negative to say about them. Also, it seems this might be a residence hotel. We didn't feel unsafe, but there is some questionable clientele coming and going.

The parking was not adequate. The stalls were in different directions with very narrow stall spacing. I had to park my car on a busy street 1/2 a block down vs taking a risk of my car getting hit by other motel stayers. Not safe for parking and the person checking in was not understanding of the car safety concerns I was having. I didn’t sleep well because I was worried about my car. The room had a bathroom window that wouldn’t lock, I had to remove and fix the window myself, I don’t believe the owners would have fixed it, I had to fix it so it locked to feel safe, The door did not have an internal lock that could prevent my it from being opened from the outside, I barricaded the room door with tables, chairs and luggage. The check in area had a very strong overpowering odor. Safety was a huge issue with this place, The only good thing was microwave and fridge, the bed was very hard, Definitely not going back.

The room had a mini refrigerator and a microwave which was nice. It also had a hair dryer. There was no coffee maker, which was a disappointment. The walls are very thin, but with the A/C fan on I spent a quiet night. The bedding was very firm. This is definitely a no-frills place, but clean and reasonably comfortable.

The people are very kind and we enjoyed our stay very much. It was close to everything we needed and room had a microwave and mini fridge which helped a lot having 4 kids. I will be happy to stay here again.

There were no closets, no iron, poor lighting, difficult car access, no cups for coffee = coffee maker useless, bare minimum supplies. On the plus side: spacious handicap room with handicap parking right in front.

The location is very convenient, located close to the beach, fast food and a short drive to Fisherman's wharf area. Rooms were outdated but clean & comfortable. The parking lot is s little quirky but at least it's free & there are enough spots for everyone. I would stay again if I'm ever in the area.

I stayed there with my daughter and 2 friends for vacation. The owner/manager appeared to take a dislike to us on the 2nd day. Knocked on our door multiple times in the 3 nights we stayed. Insisted we get “room service” but meant we needed to let them in to clean. Teens don’t wake up at 8am, sorry. He acted like we were throwing a party and doing illegal things and they needed to inspect. We also forgot jackets, came back, didn’t park perfectly, tho 3 of the 4 of us stayed in the car and he came over to tell me to fix my parking, I explained, and he just stared at me until we left.
Bathroom has no exhaust fan, mold on ceiling. Floor has sag in the middle, with creaking. Wall under window is squishy, room windows get condensation on them overnight. 3 towels only, even tho I reserved for 4 people. Parking is TIGHT.
Overall between the nosy/rude manager/owner and disrepair, I wish I’d spent a bit more and gotten a better experience.

My husband and I stayed with our two children. It was a last minute reservation after visiting the aquarium. Check in was fast and easy. Room was big and just as described. Clean and quiet site too.

Stayed 2 nights and on the check out morning manager on duty calls at 9am and
Asked my daughter if we are not staying another 2 nights for additional $300 we should leave. It was 9:00 am , check out time is 11am. I went straight to the office to ask her why She is calling my daughter who was still sleeping to leave if we are not paying for two more days. I told her we will not stay, it was very rude of her to demand either of her request at 9am Saturday morning.
The place was not even average and the room we stayed at had ethnic food
Smell. I would not recommend this place at all. Pay a little more for a better reviewed hotel. Sorry i score this place a 2.
