Hotel had been recently upgraded and rooms were very nice. We were upgraded to a two room suite which was a bonus, but one room had no alarm clock and the hair dryer was broken and for three tvs, there was only one remote.
The lady at the front desk was very helpful and very courteous.

new front desk person in training. he did a good job although slow and seemed unsure. I figured due to still being in training
room was decent for one night, but definitely needed updating. stains on bedding, ceiling needed repairs etc.
tv didnt have any good choices. I was there the night before surgery so i wish it was more relaxing of a stay. Pantry was very low on stock as well.

I have been travelling for 35 years. Without question, the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Upon discovering my room did not have a blackout curtain I advised the front desk. I asked to be moved to another room and was told they were sold out and unable to move me. I told her I cannot stay in the room without the curtain and would therefore require a refund. She asked me to wait to talk to the manager. I refused, saying if no rooms are available, I won't negotiate this. I went down to get my refund. She said she would not do that. I asked to speak to the manager and now she says no manager is available. I told her I just want a refund, once again she refused. She then says maybe I can find you a room. I said no, you clearly told me you did not have a room, so that ship has sailed. Once again, I asked to speak to the manager, she said he was unavailable- I said, wasn't he available ten minutes ago? Now that I want a refund he's not around? Clearly, she was lying to me, which was very disappointing. Fed up, I stood my ground and requested a refund. Once again, she refused. I could go on, as this incident escalated from there.. Lastly, the Booking site said the hotel was under renovation until October 28th- not true, it is still under renovation and not in great shape. More misinformation...terrible management team, terrible customer service. I would not stay here if you paid me to do so.

Very goid stay hiwever because of renovations the pool was closed rooms well equipped and clean. The TV is not good. It's not a smart TV and only has about 10 channels...most were news channels. Need to update the TV'S....What a pain dealing with old outdated technology. Otherwise nice stay just glad it was for only 1 night.

I love the consistency of Staybridges. The small things that matter like good coffee, well appointment mini kitchens and good quality (dove) body wash/hand soap etc. The food is always so goo and staff so friendly and welcoming.
That said, this property (London) was in need of an update in the room. It feels old and dark.

I especially appreciated having two choices of eggs. We like plain eggs without vegetables, meat and cheese. Thanks for providing that and an omelette withe peppers for those who prefer that.

Room smelled of smoke, bed was terrible, one of the worst sleeps we have had at a hotel. Staff was friendly & room was clean. Overall a little bit run down & outdated, expected more for the price.

Had a great family stay. Clean and comfortable. Looked the proximity to the highway but far enough away that it wasn't noisy. Staff were fantastic and helpful always. Breakfast was great. Appreciated that their pool was under construction so they offered up the pool at a neighbouring hotel across the street.

Our first room on the 2nd floor had significant spider-webs, and scratches and scuffs on walls and furniture. There were also many poorly-patched holes in doors and walls. Husband immediately asked the front desk what could be done, and we were moved to the “newly renovated” 5th floor. At first glance, a really nice room that didn’t feel like it was in the same hotel as our first room. Renovations were quickly/cheaply done, which I guess are to be expected in a hotel. There was even still drywall dust left on a towel bar (so, cleanliness was definitely questionable). Was also disappointed that the pool was closed for renovations, and did not receive any pre-warning - only once we arrived. Two disappointed kids for sure. Breakfast was included and fine. Not sure that we’d stay here again, with several other options in the immediate area.

We ended up in a hotel room that had a door that often wouldn't open from the outside. It was also sticky from the inside, but would usually open with effort. In general I could force the door open from the outside, but when leaving, with both of outside of the room, it wouldn't open. If someone inside was having a medical problem, they were out of luck. I considered it to be a fire hazard. They shouldn't have used the room. Bad experience due to the stuck door. There was also a smell of sewage in the general area. They said it had to do with washing the building. Did they use sewer water?

While they are under renovation the place is really unorganized dirty and for 180 a night you would think one room cleanup in four days could be done? Do not stay
